The Enlightenment brought with it a revival
of scientific and philosophical exploration,
a period of incredible discovery and
advancement. But soon enough (it was bound
to happen) we became intoxicated with the
powerful drug of arrogance. Intellectuals
began casting aside all belief in higher
beings and paranormal phenomena as mere
nonsense. This spirit of denial, although
originally intended to put religion to the
test of logic, has gradually become an
irrational faith itself -- and it is just as
much a threat to rational inquiry as
traditional church doctrine.

might have some ideas on my present delema: I
think that I have a "ghost" in my house, but
the only evidence I have is that the t.v.
downstairs turns on for about three days in a
row all by itself I uZ àMy discover this in
the morning hours. Then for a week or
sometimes two, all is quiet. Yes I relize
that may just be someone's coverter signals
getting to this particular t.v., however I
have one other piece of information. One day
I was downstairs and noticed the t.v. was on
