There are two translations of the Mabinogion easily available in the
UK.

The one I use is published by Everyman and was translated by a couple
of Welsh academics whose surname I can't remember, though I suspect it
was Jones. This edition includes rather extensive notes.

The other one is the "classic" Lady Charlotte Guest version, which is
available, I think, under the "Penguin Classics" imprint. This seems
to be a much used version, though most of the discussion I've seen of
it appears to be on it's shortcomings. Guest was the first person to
translate the stories and she is responsible for putting them together
in a single book.

There are a number of other translations available from various
specialist presses, but I haven't checked any of them out. A
particularly weird one is a graphic novel of the first four stories in
_Scottish Gaelic_!

Also of possible interest is the corpus of modern literature which
takes the Mabinogion stories as a starting point, mostly in a Sci-Fi/
fantasy vein.
