Schedule of Services at the Ecclesia Gnostica in Los Angeles
  • The following sacramental services of the Ecclesia Gnositca are all open to the public. Services are held at the Gnostic Sanctuary, 4516 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA (near the junction of Hillhurst, Sunset and Hollywood Blvd):
Sunday Morning Eucharist. Every Sunday Morning at 11 AM.
This service, which resembles the Mass of the Roman Catholic communion, is the supreme transformational rite of Christian Alchemy. The service is of an average duration of one hour and fifteen minutes, and concludes with a brief homily. Sunday services are most frequently conducted by Bishop Stephan Hoeller.

Weekday Evening Eucharist. Every Wednesday at 10 PM.
These intimate evening Eucharists are conducted by Bishop Hoeller every week, following his lecture at the Philosophical Research Society.

Solemn Benediction and Healing Service. Every second Sunday of the month at 8 PM.
A brief devotional service to the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, followed by the sacrament of healing with anointing and laying on of hands; conducted by the bishop on most occasions.

Vespers and Healing Service. Every fourth Sunday of the month at 8 PM.
A short service of praise and devotion, using recitations from psalms and Gnostic scriptures, followed by the traditional healing service as described above.

Service to the Holy Sophia. Every third Thursday of the month at 8 PM.
A singularly meaningful and magical service dedicated to the Divine Feminine. This service is unique in our particular rite.
