Song reprinted without permission from Land of the Lost magazine
1987. Written by Len Rosenberg, sent to Denny Sargent who then sent it
to me because he knew I was writing a book about Kali. A good
explanation of Nila Sadhaka's song for Kali fans....

"It is a little known fact that one of the most popular and best-loved
rock-n-roll perform composers of the 60's was secretly a Tantric
scholar, known to his acolytes as The Blue Adept. Recently, while
under the mind-altering influence of 18 consecutive hours of
pranayamic breathing, this author realized the esoteric significance
of The Blue Adept's hit, which subliminally instructs listeners in the
secrets of the four Yugas, or Cosmic Eras, and the Bhavas or modes of
worship appropriate to devotees of the goddess Kalika, "Little Kali"
who gives immediate Tantric enlightenment in this most corrupt of
ages.  As "blue" is nila in Sanskrit and "adept" in sadhaka, may I
present the secret meaning of Nila Sadhaka's classic, not Calendar
