BANISHING RITUAL

    The basic ritual comes from Stephen Mace's book 'Stealing
the Fire From Heaven".   The full ceremonial version  was developed by me.

Basic: Use before meditations, sleep, lesser workings etc.

A. Imagine body surrounded by glowing horizontal circle
B. Imagine vertical ellipsoid surrounding body along vertical axis
C. Imagine vertical ellipsoid surrounding left/right axis
    1. At this point body should be surrounded by a cage of three glowing
	rings
E. Visualize a fire begining in the center of your body, expand to fill
    circle. Maintain until feel of 'clarity' occurs
F. Let flame clear to reveal three rings
G. Comments
    1. Chaos magicians will find it useful to develop a sigil and
    word of power for banishing operations.  For more information on this 
    consult  Mace's book or:
		    Practical Sigil Magic by Frater U.D.
		    Liber Null & Psychonaut by Peter Carroll
    2. Visualize Sigil and say word simultaneously
    3. Sigil should transform seamlessly into protective cage


Full Ceremonial: Use with full rituals, major workings etc.
Material Components: Charged Water/other liquid or magic weapon 

A. Enter Circle
B. Clear Circle 
    1. Draw banishing sigil with finger,water.
    2. Say word of power.
    3. Imagine barrier forming,white fire cleansing circle
	a. Horizontal circle flush with floor
                        
C. Reinforce Barrier
    1. Reinforce floor circle with water, banishing sigil
    2. Draw banishing sigil at foot of "pillar", imagine it glowing
    3. Flick water at area outside circle, (while holding 
       hand directly above sigil.
	  a. Imagine it igniting into white fire. 
	  b.Say word of power.  
    4. Repeat steps 1-3 for each "pillar".

D. (Optional) Self cleansing
    1.Remove clothing
    2.Annoint body with water
    3. Say word of power
       a. Imagine body immolated in white fire.

E. Comments
    1. When saying word of power vibrate as per your system or push         
    ower put through your voice like a karate 'kai' yell

    2. When Drawing sigil,circle; or splashing water; visualize energy
    gathering into your hand and shooting out when  you perform the act.
    
    3. Vary the ritual to take advantage of ceremonial signifigant
    aspects of the working.  The cage can be colored differently
    the fire can be a cleansing rain. Imagine a planet rising and
    bathing the circle in the appropriate rays etc.
