 A commonly asked question: When is the Age of Aquarius?  The answer
is we are in the transition period right now. In Astrology, each new
or "precessional" age lasts about 2,150 years which is the time it
takes the vernal point (the point on the ecliptic that the Sun
occupies on the first day of Spring) to move backwards through each
constellation of the sidereal zodiac.  The sign Aquarius and Uranus,
the ruler of Aquarius, both govern computers, all electronics,
synchronicity, and metaphysics/astrology.

Witness: Nuclear Medicine and all the high-tech medical breakthroughs,
the sudden resurgence of interest in metaphysics, the rising power of
older-more-status-quo religions clashing amongst themselves and all
railing against metaphysics and revolutionary ideas, humans united in
the hundreds of thousands to raise money for the homeless, for the
starving in Africa, benefits for AIDS, resumption of public peace
talks between the USSR and USA.
  The issues and themes of Aquarius are those of humanity, social
conscience, universal realities.  Aquarian tools are communications
via technology.

We have to cease being fearful of change and what may seem to be
"strange" and shocking new solutions.  We must learn to trust our
intuition. The change is inevitable.

Aquarius is fixed air; air no longer rising but circulating and
descending. It is vital, vibrant, cool. Aquarius is just like a
refreshing breeze, and it is eccentric and sometimes radical,
shocking.  Like the electricity which Aquarius rules, we have to move
with the current and transmit light.

 The symbol of Aquarius is the Waterbearer pouring water down from his
pitcher.  Water symbolizes life and spirituality and baptism.  It
inspires and aspires.

When studying a sign, a symbol, an Age, it is important to remember
the polarities. The Yin/Yang of life. The Aquarius axis is Leo: the
ego, the heart center, personal love (our own and the love we have for
those close to us). The age-old adage you must love yourself before
you can ever truly love others applies.  Aquarius must always keep
this in mind.  We can often get caught up in exciting and dazzling new
concepts and forget those close to us whom we love most.

Feeding/changing the world while hurling insults at your family and
next door neighbors won't work.
 The Age of Aquarius will be about friends, group contacts,
humanitarian goals. The singular "ME" focus will shift into "US". Due
to the Uranian explosion in electronics, high technology, satellite
feeds, telecommunications, it is no longer possible to have global
isolation.  Whether we like it or not, we ARE involved and united.
Even couch potatoes will contribute.
  How more Aquarian can you get than holding access to a network (and
a NEW AGE NETWORK at that!) where, in an instant, you can communicate
your thoughts and ideas to thousands of people across the world!!!

Imagine this: Telecommunications Networks are the Alternative Press of
the 80's and 90's.

If our technology does not blow the planet up into tiny fragments, the
concept of what we all can accomplish is mindboggling!
