CHRISTMAS DAY 1997 

American Computer Company, in a very brief "fireside" press conference held 
at the lakeside home of its President in New Jersey this morning, issued a 
short statement: 

"We'd like to first wish all of our friends in the UFO Watch / ETI Community 
a very, very happy and healthy Holiday Season on this beautiful, warm United 
States Christmas Morning, the second day of Hannukah, the month of Kwaanza, 
the year of 1997..." 

"In the past two weeks, one of our business competitors, IBM Corporation, 
also a customer of a part of our group of companies, has, through several 
employees, made dishonest, slanderous and negative comments with racial and 
religious overtones, against us at American Computer Company, directly, and 
in part by email that misrepresented events involving one of their employees 
doubling as a MUFON field investigator.  We hope everyone realizes to what 
degree this constitutes an unprofessional and highly prejudicial act 
determined at unhinging our investigation of IBM, AT&T and the Roswell 
incidents." 

"Because there is no real significance to the unsubstantive statements made 
by IBM, ACC is no longer going to reply to the ongoing barrage in any manner 
but, only if required, by the filing of a Federal Lawsuit against IBM at a 
suitable time and in a suitable place.  This may have a secondary, 
beneficial effect of enabling us to take a reasonable degree of discovery as 
to documents and things in IBM's possession which relate to its involvement 
in the Roswell related incidents and with regard to its unusually well 
hidden interlocking business relationship with AT&T." 

"Our investigators have enlightened us to several facts." 

"A - IBM's reaction appears to be to the discovery that we had determined 
and verified its involvement in the effort to examine and decode information 
from what may have been the alleged Alien Craft which reportedly crash 
landed along the plains of San Agustin, in the vicinity of Roswell, New 
Mexico and the nearby city of Corona, New Mexico, between July 2nd and July 
5th of 1947.  Such is reportedy a documented fact in the archives of the 
Pentagon, relating to a project at Langley Air Force Base that gave IBM 
direct contact with materials that were, in effect, technologically 
transferred to IBM as a part of the examination, via intellectual property 
analysis methods used in 1947 through 1951.  It appears likely that IBM and 
AT&T worked very closely on information, such as has been identified in the 
'Shopkeeper's Record Notebook', a very large book of records which we have 
examined and which appears to have originated from said projects in 1947.  
Technologies of interest to both IBM and AT&T, may have resulted in the 
forming of a compact that, in the light of Anti Trust Law, may be highly 
illegal, between them.  In a closed hearing regarding the matter of 
'Problems Surrounding Civilian Requests pertaining to the Extraterrestrial 
Materials Handling Act of 1959' which took place in 1963, documents from 
IBM's post war study of the unexplained phenomena were key in making the Air 
Force apply for and obtain 'deep special handling treatment' for all 
documents that would have, had they been released, been dispositive that an 
Aerial Surveillance Craft of Alien Construction has been in the possession 
of the 'Special Department' (also known as E2)." 

"B - Deep Special Handling Treatment - is defined as, in essence, placing 
documents in a safe, along with any records of their existence, and then, 
without destroying them, locking the safe with its key inside of it, and 
placing a 24 hour around the clock Marine guard on the safe, instructed to 
shoot anyone which approaches the safe 'on sight'.  In addition, special 
forms of disclosure control documents are required of any commercial 
research facility which is engaged in the handling of materials which are 
described by documents under 'Special Handling Treatment' - implicitly 
rendering said company's ability to contract with the US Government a legal 
impossibility for a minimum of 5 years in the event of even a single breach 
of security.  Furthermore, such commercial contractors must engage in a 
'confidential undercover position', one or more employees of an Authorized 
National Security Agency, such as the NSA or the OSI.  Said operatives are 
then to be provided whatever resources are required to use their commercial 
position to further 'insure the security' of the materials, research and the 
knowledge that the 'Special Handling Treatment' classification applies to 
them and the documents being held in said manner.  No official records exist 
of this highly classified procedure in the public sector." 

"C - Only orders of the Commanding Officer of the NSA, OSI or E2 
organization can countermand DEEP-SHT classification treatment, and the 
operatives involved, which could be numerous, report only to a 'control' 
directed by said Commanding Officer.  Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are DEEP-SHT 
(pronounced "deep sheet") documents or any objects, information or things 
related to them, or the procedures and logistics involving them EVER 
PRODUCED in response to a public FOIA Request, and in virtually all cases, 
unless a Committee of Congress formally follows a special procedure for 
compelling the production of such DEEP-SHT materials, information and 
things, any and all requests from individual members of the House, the 
Senate, and barring the existence of a formal Declaration of War, the 
President, are IGNORED with respect to these kinds of materials.  The 
purpose behind this procedure is to insure that no member of Congress, nor 
the President, have personal knowledge of matters which might be compromised 
or might compromise them, under the special circumstances of the DEEP-SHT 
classification proceedure, in spite of the fact that such might be deemed 
illegal or unconstitutional by certain legal experts." 

"D - It is our opinion that AT&T and IBM hiding the special 'compact' 
between them, may be a sign of what appears to be an attempt to circumvent 
what might have been deemed an 'unlawful combination' in legal terms, and 
that might just provide us the legal leverage necessary to undermine the 
ongoing hiding of documents about the 'Extraterrestrial Craft or Craft Crash 
Debris or UFO' the DOD may have sequesteres, and which lately has become of 
PARAMOUNT INTEREST to what appears to be just about EVERY AMERICAN CITIZEN 
old enough to understand what may be at stake in this matter, along with 
many persons following this unusual situation around the world." 

"IN CONCLUSION: at this time we believe the analysis of the Special 
Intelligence Branch of the US Department of Defense, recently underway at 
Wright Patterson Air Force Base, analyzing the collateral effects of the ACC 
investigation, and related efforts that touch upon the publications by 
W.Birnes/Lt. P. Corso,  Stanton Friedman, and Charles Berlitz, and 
statements by well respected scientific figures, including two NASA 
Astronauts, one of whom walked on the Lunar Surface, has suddenly concluded 
that a concensus is growing among the American Public demanding FULL 
IMMEDIATE DISCLOSURE of the facts in this case.   The present position of 
this study group is to 'undermine the effort' rather than capitulate to it." 

"TO THE DOD, WE CHALLENGE ANY EFFORT TO UNDERMINE THE RESOLVE OF AMERICAN 
CITIZENS TO LEARN THE TRUTH: In our opinion, that would be both a TRAGIC and 
possibly, a FATAL LOGISTICAL ERROR.  The SIB, the Air Force and the 1600 
Army Pentagon Intelligence Oversight Board under the Joint Chiefs of Staff 
should immediately voluntarily succomb to the mounting pressure from the 
Public, instead of allowing it to continue to mount and thereby further 
undermine public trust and confidence in our government and our military.  
In essence: immediately, and without semantic nor technical debate, release 
TO THE PUBLIC both the information about the alleged contact with an Alien 
Species and said alleged Alien Craft in your possession, unconditionally.  
There are matters hanging on your decision that have progressed well 'above 
and beyond' the ultimate vision presently possessed by the Pentagon, high 
matters of constitutional duty and honor that the Pentagon and the Joint 
Chiefs are unwittingly and completely UNAWARE OF, may represent a 'test of 
your courage and wisdom' with very far reaching implications, in fact 
implications you do not even suspect at this time." 

"We at the American Computer Company believe that the pressure on the US 
Government to 'reveal all' is so great at this time, that the appropriate 
individuals in the DoD can HARDLY continue to ignore it and hardly can 
continue to believe the American People either too stupid or too immature to 
continue to be willingly factually misled." 

"We WELCOME any response worth debating or listening to from the Department 
of Defense and pray that, in the DoD's wisdom, it finds it within itself to 
respond quickly, thoroughly and without holding back further information 
about the alleged Alien Flying Object.  As to IBM and AT&T, that matters is
