I was flicking through the Aliens made us thread but it didn't seem to be
going anywhere. I don't think we'll ever find out WHEN the splicing
happened because not enough of us are looking for that type of evidence
(see the book 'Forbidden Archaeology'). However, we can reason about
evolution and see plainly that humans do not fit in much at all.
Evolution proposes that organisms evolve in reaction to environmental
conditions, hence survival of the fittest. This is fine. We can observe
this in all life on earth. But according to this theory, no organism
should have any characteristics which are unnecessary for survival.
Because all characteristics are nothing more than biological responses to
environmental factors, all characteristics should be directly related to
some environmental feature/s. This is where humans and all other life on
earth differ.
Clearly humans are the only life form on the planet which have the
ability to do more than just survive. Any other animal that can do
unnecessary things, like catch a ball, only do it because of human
influence. We have the ability to make doodles on a page, to wear lots of
leather when we have sex, to think abstractly and produce art. WHY? These
things are not reactions to, nor are they extensions of reactions to,
environmental conditins and factors. Humans are as incompatible with
evolution as a beast with a hundred legs it does not use (talking human
mental capacity here).
Also, the natural ecosystem of Earth has NEVER produced an organsim which
is capable of, and does, destroy the ecosystem itself. How could it? It
is (supposedly) a closed system, but no mutation could result in an
organsim with the destructive ability of humans. Humans are evidently not
a part of the natural evolutionary system of Earth. I believe our roots
are tied to the ape, which in early days was just an animal like
everything else that didn't know how to do anything other than survive,
and was not self-concious. Then humans arrived out of almost nowhere. We
will never find the missing link because it does not exist.
What I think is that humans were definitely influenced in their evolution
by some extra-terrestrial factor. You can call it aliens or you can call
it something else. Whatever it was, I think it was intelligent and had a
purpose. It just was pretty unwise because clearly the experiment has
gone wrong. We will destroy the planet if we continue the way we are
going. This would never have been the case if it had not been for the
'unnatural', extra-terrestrial influence which messed up the previously
harmonious ecosystem.
The 'human condition' is nothing more than the stress of being caught
between the animal and the extra-terrestrial realms. We are in some
unnatural state that we don't properly know how to deal with. It'd be
like giving your dog a conscience. He'd have to do some major thinking
about his behaviour.
I am not trying to explain the nature of God, but I think that the e.t.
influence has been called God in the past (and present) and falsely
equated with the creator of the universe. God created the universe, and
whatever this God, or first cause, was we will never know. But this God
did not create the human being. Whatever created the human was
irresponsible, God was not. We cannot know God because its nature lies
otside the bounds of human understanding. It's like a dog trying to
understand an airplane. What we can understand is the extra-terrestrial
influence that created us. Because I am sure that this same influence is
actively upon us as we speak. I think the extra-terrestrials are, and
always have been, with us. The similarity of the Earth's religions seem
to support this.
'God' will return from the heavens, but he wont be a white dude in a
beard in robes.
