The TV is on. Cnn is reporting (--_Breaking_News_--) that
astronomer Seth Shostak from the SETI Institute, is going
to hold a pressconference, confirming that they have
indeed found that one signal, all have been looking for.
Later today, is it said that George W. Bush will brief
the public.
Everyone in the science world is excited and
Arthur C Clarke, Scifi Author, made the comment:
I knew it would happen, just not this soon!

This scenario did not occur, and nor will it.
Because, if you've kept up with current events,
you will know that there is a certain Apparatus
already travelling the skies.
People have during the centuries speculated that the
the sky based movement could be anything from gods,
angels,faeries, extra-terrestials (greys, sirian, andromedans,
draconian, chulosians, pleiadians, ummonians and the list
goes on), ferries, robots or anomalous
physical events we can solve if we consider: the theory
of everything which incorporates physics of higher
dimensions, timetravel and parallel universes.

We will get back to what all that means in just a second.
The scenario above has to some extent already occured, but
it is too complicated for the scientific world to figure out
and the data, reveals more than desired.
When we as humans meet eachother we normally stretch out our
hands and greet eachother. Because of the vast distances in
space scientists believe that the most likely contact method
would be either by radio waves or laser beams.
Realtime handshaking would be done by technology we've only
begun to think about or with tools of the mind we simply
do not know about.
Scifi author Clarke has considered, that a more evolved form
of life would actually travel the distance and deploy sensory
devices which could gather data about the other civilisation.

In any case, all these ideas of methods and a quantum of others,
seem very sound to the scientic mind or the human brain for that
matter, which we will try to use.

Now let's go back to the diffrent types of references for
the thing/s who fly the Apparatus.
The names or ideas expressed are not equal to anything, it's
only a comforter as is your christian name. Hence your mind
is not your name. You use the name to go some place.
Either by introducing yourself or by using the specific
name/idea to get further information.
This is how the human mind operates. It
recognizes knowns, catalogues and uses previous learned information
to realise new.
Very much like an antenna connected to a "decent computer".
The point here is that SETI scientists and the chosen few
nonscientists who believe in an Apparatus are using
the same "normal human faculties" to reason pro/con for
the existance of the Apparatus.

They try to establish: origin/name&worktools/busdrive/goal.
Where are you from? What is your name?
How do you travel?
What do you want to achieve by doing what you do?

If the signal never comes then these things will
never be figured out, but on the other hand
maybe they won't even if it reaches us!
As I said earlier the signal will never come.
There are many answers to why but in the end it is
a philosophical question and not a worldly matter.
If all of our parents brought us up with the knowledge that
a signal was coming things may have turned out diffrent.
Because Then, we would have started to make real plans
on how to greet the signal.
Who Told our parents that the signal was to come, and more importantly
who the heck was the first one to tell that male or female.
This must ofcourse had been known. There could be no missing link.
We would have stretched out our hands not with introduction
of our christian names but by thought.
And I don't mean telepathetic, which we already have
destroyed by signal pay per view.

To continue on the John Lennon trip, let's imagine that:
The Signal really came, but along time ago, before man began
to walk the earth.
The Apparatus(Signal, names...) knows more about us than we could ever know
about it. Unfortunately our brains and societal & environmental
conditioning prohibits us from evolving next to it.
To take another jump, here - the signal amounts to something
that has no origin, bears no name, does not travel and
can't really achieve because as I'm alluding to
it's achievements our only based on our quest for a
thorough introduction.

To go alittle greenpeacistic: Life seeks to live but not always with other
life.
This sounds awfully pessimistic in such a fascinating and exciting field of
life. But it is not neccessarily so.
It would seem that no matter what we want to accomplish here on earth, there
is something that constantly let us not only do what we want to do.
Someone is quite literally interrupting our plans.
Messing around in the lab if you wish.
Its presence is not hidden and its actions are not secret.
The Ufo community think there's a hidden agenda somewhere, either by
government
or by aliens. But the hidden part here is only our lack of brains, that is
the telepathetic destruction.

All of us could be skywatchers, but not the government. Not a social
structure
not today, not tomorrow. We are earth based and that is the only conspiracy.
Any withholding of information is only because the planned pressconference
is postphoned until further due notice.

But as I said in the beginning the data reveals more than desired.
The rationale here seem to suggest that since the Apparatus knows so much
about
us and earth, it not only knows what will occur but plays an integral part
of it all.
And I'm sorry to inform Seth Shostak and the Seti guys of this, but Contact
the way you planned it, is not in the signal's plan.
