FORWARDER'S NOTE:  Please try to picture, if you will, your local county tax 
assessor holding a gun on you to get you to "pay up".  This is an article 
that brings out a very good point.  If the government is so good and honest, 
why does a tax collector have to be armed?  And if the people trust their 
government so much, then why does a tax collector have to be armed?  AND if 
the government is NOT good and honest AND the if the people do not trust 
their government, then why does that government exist???  
Why do otherwise rational, thinking people tolerate a government that is 
corrupt, dishonest, oppressive, abusive, harsh and tyrannical - to a degree 
that no one served by that government, save a few "power people", enjoy the 
freedoms and security they deserve from that government: that government that 
was formed for that sole purpose, TO SERVE THE PEOPLE THAT CREATED IT !
Our forefathers had the same situation, almost identical to today's. Read 
what they wrote in the Declaration of Independence...

    ".....We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are
    created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with
    certain unalienable   Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty
    and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, 
    Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers
    from the consent of the governed. That whenever any Form of 
    Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of
    the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government,
    laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers
    in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety
    and Happiness...."

Do you feel "safe" with your government?  In response to a survey last year, 
67% of the respondents said "NO"!
Are you truly happy with an oppressive, graduated, unconstitutional tax on 
your very labor that provides for your loved ones and your home?  In response 
to that same survey, the folks said "NO" in 71% of the instances.

SO WHY, PRAY TELL, DO WE STILL HAVE THE SAME OPPRESSIVE, DOGMATIC, 
NON-RESPONSIVE GOVERNMENT ??  I think the answer to that question lies in the 
moral fiber of the people.... Please look around you and try to discern who 
among your family, friends and neighbors would show the dedication that our 
forefathers did.......again an excerpt from the Declaration of 
Independence,,,,,,

    ".......We, therefore, the Representatives of the UNITED STATES
     OF AMERICA, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the
     Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions do, 
     in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies,
     solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and
     of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are
     Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political
     connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought
     to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they
     have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliance, 
     establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which
     Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this
     Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence,
     we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our
     sacred Honor."

The emphasis (underlining) is mine to bring a point to bear - we, as a 
collective nation, have turned away from the "Supreme Judge of the world" - 
turned our backs on the very God that created us, with whom all things are 
possible.  Ask anyone addicted to Monday Night Football "Doesn't your team 
need the best players?"  We, as a nation, have let our government drive our 
God from our schools, from our government and from our courts.  Without the 
"best Player" on our team, we fail to mediocrity.  Our servant government has 
stripped us of certain, guaranteed national salvation.  THEN WHY IS THAT 
SERVANT GOVERNMENT STILL IN OUR EMPLOY??!!  Perchance the last sentence 
penned by our forefathers tends to explain it quite handily - and holds to a 
brilliant white light the moral fiber of our people..... you cannot enslave 
honest, educated, knowledgeable BRAVE people.  Those that bend to each 
bureaucratic breeze, those that will trade any and all of their God-given 
rights for a little transient comfort are this government's lawful prey.

Who among you are brave enough to pray "Please, God, Dear Heavenly Father, 
give me exactly what I have brought upon myself, please give me what I 
deserve"?

WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD ORDER - EXPECT NO MERCY...........

SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) -- An Internal Revenue Service agent was found fatally 
shot inside the Ronald Reagan Federal Building on Wednesday and police were 
investigating it as a suicide or accident. 
  
A bomb squad was summoned when a suspicious package was found on another 
floor of the building, which houses federal offices and a U.S. courthouse, 
but it turned out to be the agent's lunch. 
  
  
The agent, a man in his mid-40s whose name was withheld, was in the building 
on unspecified "official business" when he was found shot in the head with a 
gun nearby on the eighth floor about 11 a.m., said police Sgt. Raul Luna. 
  
Paramedics rushed the agent to a trauma center but he could not be saved. 
  
Others in the building heard the shot but no one witnessed the shooting, Luna 
said. 
  
But police were certain the agent had not been shot by someone else. "We have 
no reason to believe there's a murderer running around the building," Luna 
said. "We haven't ruled out anything, but at this point we are looking at it 
as a possible suicide or accident." 
    
The agent was found in a copier room on the same floor where offices of the 
U.S. attorney are located. Luna said there were no IRS offices in the 
building. 
  
The ownership of the gun was not immediately determined, but Luna said 
security is very tight and only law enforcement agents are allowed to bring 
weapons inside.
