   It seems to be my place to attempt to draw the perspective on this
list back to some semblance of reality. At least I take it as such. In
keeping with the patriot/UFO/weird science emphasis of late, I offer
the following.

   HAARP does not cause riots in prison.
   HAARP does not cause earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, car
crashes, plane crashes, train derailments or personal crises.

   There are no concentration camps waiting those who speak out on the
Internet.

   Etc.

   You get my drift.

   There have always been riots in prisons, earthquakes, tornados,
hurricanes, car crashes, plane crashes, train derailments and personal
crises, long before HAARP was a gleam in any mind's eye. There will
always be natural, and unnatural, disasters, FEMA or no FEMA, HAARP or
no HAARP. Our personal boogy-persons are not responsible for each and
every crisis in the world!

   There is no centralized grand conspiracy to keep the "facts" of
UFOs, ETs, advanced science, free energy, anti-gravity or mental
programming secret from the world. The world, and the humans in it,
just doesn't work that way. If the Grand Conspiracy were true, the
world would be an entirely different place, much more ordered, much
less unruly.

   However...

   There is a creeping oppression that is far more dangerous than any
centralized conspiracy. Conspiracies can be unmasked and effectively
opposed. As a centralized opposition to governmnet can be identified
and co-opted, so can a centralized government conspiracy be identified
and opposed by the people.

   Sadly, this is not the case.

   The source of the increasing oppression in the United States, and
the rest of the world controlled by the United States, i the very
success of the government/economic system we so widely espouse.
Overlappinging agendas of government agencies and trans-national
corporations has produced the "military-industrial complex" Eisenhower
warned us about. The MIC has extended its strangle-hold on the world
economic/governmental system far more then even Ike envisioned.

   We cannot afford to fritter away our energies on possibilism,
speculation and paranoid imaginings. The very real threat is occurring
on our streets and highways every day, as we are constantly urged to
give up our rights and freedoms to our velvet-gloved keepers. Too many
individuals are willing to trade their rights for a perception of
security, a practice that too often in the past has lead to the
reinterpretation of "security" to the advantage of the oppressor.

   Let's try real hard concentrate on facts. We don't know what HAARP
does; let's find out. Dig for the facts and spread them around.
Specualting that HAARP is responsible for riots in prisons is
irresponsible rumour-mongering. It does no one any good, and
unnecessarily diverts attention from areas that truly need attention.

   I fear for this country and it's citizens. It's obvious we no
longer have a democracy. Divisionism and flight from reality only
compounds the problem, providing the ruling elite with the ammunition,
and the process, to keep us distracted and inneffective.
