Law Journal EXTRA! Opens the Doors to Its World Wide Web Site

Law Journal EXTRA! which has legal news and information on the
Internet, announced the opening of its public home page on the World
Wide Web, located at http://www.ljx.com.  The free Web site, developed
by the publisher of the National Law Journal, offers access to:

-- current news from The National Law Journal, a newspaper for
lawyers, the New York Law Journal, and other internet resources;

-- key primary source materials, including the U.S. Code, U.S. Supreme
Court decisions, Federal Circuit Court decisions; SEC filings;
selected state court decisions including all decisions by the New York
Court of Appeals, and other states' high courts;

-- topical forums, searchable by key word;

-- comprehensive collection of legal technology resources on the
Internet, including Law Technology Product News.

-- a thorough collection of legal library resources, including the
ability to read, search and respond to messages from the many legal
mailing lists echoed at Law Journal EXTRA!;

-- classified listings, including the an online database of law
employment opportunities and the only online database of continuing
legal education (CLE) seminars and events;

-- a comprehensive legal marketplace, providing one-stop shopping for
law firms products and services, including a special law technology
information center.

Law Journal EXTRA! is organized  into 34 separate practice areas.

Law Journal EXTRA! will continue to provide, on a subscription basis,
same-day access to the New York Law Journal, Law Journal EXTRA!'s
proprietary New York Judicial Database, and its library of unpublished
decisions.   In addition, Law Journal EXTRA! provides other legal
publishers and law firms with a method of publishing on the internet.
Law Journal EXTRA! creates customized home pages on the Web for other
information providers, including major law firms around the country,
and integrates memos and newsletters from these diverse sources into
