Are there any other readers out there familiar with Dr. Earnest Holmes
and his founding "Science of Mind"  I have been following the teaching
for about four years now, and studying with Dr. Grayson in New York City.
The philosophy states that there is only one universal "Mind" (God,
infinite spirit) always creating, and that we are expressions of this
mind in action.  And that we all use this mind.  And behind this mind
there is a universal law that responds to our subconsciousness.  And that
it is actually our use of the conscious mind through which we create.  To
me this explains all the talk for many years about the power of positive
thinking etc.  When we become aware of our conscious thoughts, feelings,
emotions etc., we become aware of what is going into our subconsciousness
which will create through this law. There are spiritual laws as well as
physical laws.

Jesus I believe was teaching this sort of Quantum theory on a level the
people would understand at the time.  "Ask and ye shall receive", "What a
man thinketh in his heart...., "pray without ceasing" (which just means
controlling our thoughts constantly)", "whatever a man soweth..." and on
and on.  Through this practice I have seen this law in action.  It is the
great secret of the universe.  We are working with an energy that must
respond, and it responds through us and the use of the one mind, called
God.  We create nothing, but through our use of the mind, God creates
all. He doesn't know the difference between good and evil, because there
can be no duality.  Man judges what is good and evil.

This universal spiritual law is similar to electricity.  It has always
been here, but wasn't always discovered.  And electricity is impersonal
as it doesn't care if it cooks you a steak dinner, or burns your house
down.  It is the use of the law. So yes, God will give us all that we
ask.  But he does it through law.  It is up to us to use this law wisely,
and to have knowledge of it.  Anyway, if there are others out there that
would like to discuss or comment on this philosophy further, I would
enjoy other postings!  "A man thinketh thefore he can"
