CHOOSING THE RIGHT PATH

There are many spiritual paths and methods to choose from. However, not
all of them are sincere or authentic. What do you look for?

THE TRUTH BELONGS TO EVERYONE AND CANNOT BE MADE INTO AN ORGANIZATION OR
BUSINESS ENTERPRISE. NOBODY SHOULD PROFIT FROM IT AND THERE SHOULD BE NO
SECRECY INVOLVED.

None of the great prophets charged money for what is everyone's natural
birthright. Nor did they have business organizations! The benevolence of
humanity was their motivation.

EXTREME BEHAVIOR IS NOT NECESSARY.
Extreme physical and mental practices are unnecessary and may even be
harmful. What we are seeking is beyond thought and beyond physical
effort. Enlightenment cannot be achieved through the intellect or by
physical exertions. A true spiritual path advocates balance and
moderation.

Try to distinguish between teachings which help us to become the spirit
versus teachings which develop ego and self-image.

Try to distinguish between spiritual development and the development of
psychic powers which do not lead to enlightenment but to dangerous
manifestations of ego and superego.

ALTERING YOUR APPEARANCE IS NOT NECESSARY.
Wanting to be different is usually a manifestation of ego, and has
nothing to do with spiritual growth.

YOU MUST BECOME YOUR OWN MASTER/GURU.
EACH PERSON'S INDIVIDUALITY AND FREEDOM MUST BE RESPECTED.
Genuine spiritual guidance encourages the seeker to become their own
master and not a blind subject of another human being.

There should be a balance between self-mastery, humble devotion and
recognition of a Higher Power.

THE TEACHER OR GURU SHOULD BE THE EMBODIMENT OF PURITY, HUMILITY AND
COMPASSION.
Look at the way they live their life.
