Police Misconduct and Your Rights

A forum for the exchange of information regarding our right (among other things) to dance !

Know Your Rights!

How many of us know what our legal rights are when a police officer stops us on the street, or when he or she tells us they want to search us? We need not only to KNOW our rights, we also need to know HOW to assert them in a real situation. And we need to actively DEMAND our rights over and over again, if we hope to have them respected, given that many officers are ready and willing to ignore them. This is a short introduction to a complex legal subject.
