ADA Calls for "Overhaul" of National Security Act

   Americans for Democratic Action adopted  a resolution  at its
National board Meeting in Pittsburgh, March 31-April 2, which
called for Congress to "overhaul the National Security Act of
1947." The reso- lution read:

   "The horrors of the CIA involvement in the murder of U.S.
citizens and others in Guatemala only bring to the fore the
necessity of a sweeping change in the operation of U.S.
intelligence agencies.

   To meet the exigencies of the Cold War, Congress gradually
surrendered control of the intelligence budget to the bureaucrats
running that vast empire.

   In addition to the intelligence budget itself, a plethora of
Special Access Programs have developed, an inner sanctum obscure
even to the bureaucrats who compose the intelligence empire.

   Despite repeated efforts to express a sense of Congress that
the intelligence budget should be published, it remains hidden in
Air Force accounts.

   Furthermore, after campaigning vigorously for continued budget
secrecy on the grounds of National Security, then DCI, Woolsey
had the audacity to turn around and claim to the intelligence
community that cuts will not reduce the budget deficit at all,
only increase the amount available to the Pentagon to spend on
other military programs. In other words, even he concedes that
the need for intelligence budget secrecy is not derived from
National Security considerations, but from a desire to prevent
any Congressionally mandated austerity measures.

   Meanwhile, It is now widely known that the intelligence
authorization is running at a rate of $28,000,000,000 a year and
the intelligence "black budget" is $9,500,000,000 a year.
Considering the explosion of open source information since 1947,
when wartime intelligence collection was transferred to civilian
control;

   And considering the rapid dissemination of that information
via television into the homes and offices of government officials
responsible for policy making and National Security concerns;

   And considering the information explosion rapidly developing
in terms of the information superhighway;

   And considering that an intelligence budget of $37,500,000,000
amounts to more being spent on intelligence by the United States
alone than all the other nations on earth combined;

   And considering that the intelligence product resulting from
that expenditure is no more accurate or authoritative than the
product produced by major news gathering organizations at a tiny
fraction of the expense;

   Therefore be it resolved that:

   1. ADA heartily supports Senator Moynihan's plan to dismember
the Central Intelligence Agency;

   2. ADA would support an initiative in Congress to overhaul the
National Security Act of 1947;

   3. ADA recommends that the Intelligence Authorization for 1996
be reduced by 30%, and urges an additional 30% reduction in the
Intelligence Authorization for 1997;

   4. ADA strongly urges the reclassification of all Special
Access Programs, and their inclusion in the Intelligence
Authorization Act for 1996;

   ADA strongly urges the immediate publication of the
Intelligence Authorization (including Special Access Programs)
for all years from 1947 through 1994, in simple easy to read
English, and the wide dissemination thereof.

  "A good beginning, but too little too late. Too conservative,"
said W.H. Bowart, author of Operation Mind Control and founder of
the Freedom of Thought Foundation. "REPEAL THE NATIONAL SECURITY
ACT at the polls, state by state."

   Bowart said,"It's easier to get a camel to pass through the
eye of a needle than it is to bring a cryptocrat into the
Information Age. Defensive people are usually in the defense
business."

MIND CONTROL CONFERENCE REVIEWED ON INTERNET By Jerry Leonard

FOTF found the following posted on the net in several places.
Written by a physicist who works for a large international firm,
it is printed here with revisions by the author. Extensive
footnotes have been deleted for brevity.

    I recently attended a three day symposium in Richardson Texas
(3/23-26/95) on cult abuse. The title of the conference was Cult
and Ritual Abuse, Mind Control and Dissociation and it was
sponsored by the "Society for the Investigation, Treatment and
Prevention of Ritual and Cult Abuse" (based in Richardson). My
intention was to get an overview of the influence and extent of
cults in our society, their techniques of gaining control over
their victims as well as to explore what measures might be taken
to stop them or limit the damage they are doing to our society.

Summary:

I came away with the opinion that cults are far more prevalent,
well-connected, sophisticated and dangerous than I had ever
dreamed. In addition to the destruction caused to the general
population from which they recruit, they are reportedly being
systematically used by US intelligence agencies to control
politicians at the top levels (and I mean top levels) of our
govern- ment as well as other governments throughout the world.
During the conference it also became apparent that cult-like
techniques are also being used in corporate settings at major US
companies under the guise of team building as well as creativity
and productivity enhancement. (This has been the subject of
several articles in The Wall Street Journal.)

Overview:

Several therapists at the conference (both those invited to speak
at the conference as well as several I talked to in the audience)
were reporting that they are encountering individuals who exhibit
symptoms of having been systematically "program- med" with
multiple personality dis- order (MPD). After the initial shock
and disbelief at encountering this phenomenon, the therapists
often discover that it is the result of the victims having
undergone very systematic and sophisticated programming through
trauma-based techniques by cults. Often, it would appear, this
pro- gramming is in conjunction with US intelligence or law
enforcement agencies. These therapists are encountering layer
upon layer of multiple personalities which can be triggered by
code words, tones, music and numbers. Often the programming
includes self-des- tructive behavior patterns such as self-
mutilation. If separation from the cult occurs or if the victim
seeks professional therapy, some cult victims are programmed to
attack the therapist. The pro- gramming is also often designed to
keep the individual depen- dent on the cult -- often through drug
or alcohol dependency for life.

The uniformity of the cult- programmed "triggering" codes on a
national and even international scale reported by many thera-
pists has led many professionals in the law enforcement and
mental health field to conclude that the programming is being
orchestrated and coordinated at a very high level using extremely
sophisticated mind control techniques.

This particular con- ference was designed to help therapists
encountering these phenomenon network with each other, protect
themselves (both legally and physically) and their patients as
well as to learn techniques which might assist them in re-
integrating their patient's personalities.

Background

The basis for the "cult orches- trated" programming is called
trauma-based conditioning which consists of systematically
inducing trauma in children (and sometimes adults) to alter their
state of consciousness so that the vic- tim can be more readily
manipu- lated, conditioned or program- med. Methods of inducing
the trauma include various types of torture (including the use of
cattle prods and ritualistic body carving) and participation in
grotesque rituals -- satanic or otherwise. This torture creates
such a level of unbearable pain and anxiety that the person who
is the target of this activity often goes into a trance or
"dissociates" to escape. Often a new "personality" emerges in the
dissociated mental state which can then be programmed to perform
certain tasks on cue (sometimes with the assistance of drugs)
through classical conditioning techniques (e.g. the Pavlovian
conditioned response) while the victim is undergoing the torture.
This process can be repeated so that layer upon layer of
personality is scientifically created in the victim. Each per-
sonality can then be programmed for different tasks such as
information gathering and dissemin- ation, sexual acts,
assassination, and complex behavior such as mechanical assembly
of weapons.

     Cults are used by intelligence operatives because they
provide a means for inducing the trauma through various cult
rituals as well as for providing a real-life setting and network
for controlling the victim throughout their lives. Satanic cults
are often used to induce trauma through bizarre rituals which
children are forced to observe and/or participate in. This
participation provides an effective methodology for pro- gramming
the children in dis- sociated mental states. Trauma-inducing
rituals used by Satanic cults include human and animal sacrifice,
incest and other sexual acts (e.g. ritual mutilation,etc.).

   After the programming, the children can be and frequently are
used for the making and selling of child porn videos as well as
for child prostitution to paedophiles. As the children grow up
they can be used as adult prostitutes. Later in life, they can be
used as drug couriers or can simply be disposed of.

Multigenerational Program

    In addition to overt satanic organizations, several members
of the audience in one workshop I attended claimed to have
undergone similar childhood  trauma-based programming in cults
and organizations which their fathers belonged to. Overt and
covert satanic and Luciferian cults provide an advantage in that
this form of programming can take place over successive
generations. These so-called "multi-generational abuse" families
allegedly provide a class of victims which can more readily
dissociate in response to the trauma regimen and therefore can be
more efficiently and effectively programmed,

   It is thought that this work with trans-generational abuse
programming started in America with the Nazi influx after World
War Two, though there is evidence that it has existed for
hundreds of years in German families in Europe. The secrecy
inherent in such organizations as the Masonic Order, their alleg-
edly "respectable" appearance and their extensive influence in
government allow the program- mers considerable control over
their victims as well as freedom from prosecution.

    Some researchers claim that the victims of this horrible
abuse are systematically passed around to prominent politicians
who can then be blackmailed by the CIA and/or the cults for their
partic- ipation. These compromised politicians can then be placed
in positions of power to further the cult's or the intelligence
agency's agenda.

Presidential Models

   The CIA has allegedly trained generations of so-called "pres-
idential models" (women who are passed around to pres- idents and
other world leaders for illicit sexual encounters) through a CIA
program called Project Monarch. The programming these victims
undergo allegedly allows them to be triggered to perform various
sexual acts on command  and then to have no memory of it due to
their compartmentalized personality. (The memories of some
survivors are coming back thanks to new treatments which the CIA
apparently did not foresee).

    One woman who spoke at the conference said a person in the
dissociated mental state can be programmed to perform certain
tasks on cue. Sometimes drugs are used to enhance the classical
conditioning techniques while the victim is undergoing torture.
This process can be re- peated so that layer upon layer of
personality is created in the victim. Each personality can then
be programmed for different tasks such as information gather- ing
& dissemination, sexual acts, assassination, and complex be-
haviors such as mechanical ass- embly of weapons,  Behavior such
as self destructive mut-ilation, drug or alcohol abuse and
dependency, etc. can also be programmed.

     Much of this programmed behavior is designed to enhance the
power of the programmers, such as drug dependency, pros-
titution, or to prevent the victim from escaping the cult or suc-
cessfully seeking therapy. Dis-crediting behaviors are also
included in the behavior modifi- cation process so that the
victim won't be taken seriously by authorities.

Personality Compartments

     By fragmenting and compartmentalizing the personality of the
victim in this manner, the victim can reportedly be induced to
commit numerous forms of self destructive and degrading acts over
which he/she has no control and often of which he/she will have
no memory. Since the conditioned behavior can take place without
the conscious aware- ness of the victim --until perhaps later in
life when memories can be triggered by other traumatic events --
this type of program- ming has numerous benefits for the
programmers.

    Apparently, this type of cult activity is fairly widespread.
Police departments have stum- bled on well organized nation- wide
child kidnapping rings made up of children who have been
kidnapped by various means and sold to these cults. Ted
Gunderson, a 28-year-veteran of the FBI, described one case in
which he personally uncovered an elementary school which had been
built on a system of tunnels through which children were taken
into neighboring houses and the surrounding area to participate
in Satanic ritual abuse. The children reported this activity for
some time prior to the invest- igation but no one believed them
until the trial was over and the accused acquitted. A major child
prostitution ring with links to Washington DC was recently
uncovered in Nebraska by former state senator, John Decamp. His
experience is described in his book, The Franklin Coverup.

    Due to the fact that high level politicians have been com-
promised through this activity and the fact that very influential
organizations and prominent businessmen also appear to
participate regularly in this type of child abuse -- many times
when a local police department makes a breakthrough in an
investigation -- it is silenced by the FBI. This should not
really come as a surprise since the founder and lifelong head of
the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover was a secret  cross- dresser who
possessed a draconian control over Con- gressmen and Presidents.
For his entire lifetime, Hoover had his way to absurd lengths.
For example Hoover managed to hold fast for decades to the claim
that there was no Mafia in the United States.

   Perhaps abused children are being used by the FBI today, the
same way Hoover used his massive files on politicians -- for
systematic blackmail and political control?

False Memory Spindrome

    It became apparent at the conference that there is a
widespread concern that there is an organized effort to legally
and financially destroy therapists who try to treat the victims
of this mind control technology. It is well known that an attack
or "back- lash" against therapists is taking place under the
pretext that the therapists are implanting false memories in the
victims. Many ritual abuse victims, due to the dissociation and
fragmentation created by the original condition-ing, report
suddenly encountering long-repressed memories later in life. This
is a topic of much controversy.

    Much time at the conference was devoted to the discussion of
legal strategies for the therapists to protect themselves and
their patients from this backlash which many feel is orchestrated
by the CIA through a front group known as the False Memory
Syndrome Foundation, which has a well- known CIA "spychiatrist",
Martin T. Orne, at the head of its advisory board.

   W.H. Bowart urged the audience to call the FMSF the "False
Memory Spindrome Foundation because there is no basis for their
claim that what they're describing meets the scientific criteria
of a syndrome, while, it does meet the criteria of the propaganda
and  disin- formation of cryptocratic spin doctors." Bowart said,
" In the end, when this all comes out in the wash, anybody
supporting them -- certainly anybody involved with them -- will
be discovered to be a dupe or a spook."

    It is my personal view that the larger satanic cults are
being manipulated by the federal intelligence and law enforcement
agencies from behind the scenes. I became convinced that they do
not operate independently.


Our Occult Government

   It was revealed in The New York Times in the 1970s that the
CIA was dabbling in the "occult" as part of its mind control
program called MKULTRA which involved extensive testing of drugs
and other techniques on unwitting members of the Am- erican and
international public. The cults provide a buffer of "plausible
deniability" between the CIA and mind control experi- ments in
case cult operators are caught and prosecuted.

    It is the opinion of many researchers familiar with the CIA's
technology and methods that the techniques which were developed
by the CIA in project MKULTRA and other projects which used
unethical testing procedures on numbers of unwitting human
subjects. It is generally believed that these projects have now
gone "oper- ational" and are being used on a wide scale against
the general public as a means of "socio-political" control of the
general population.

     It also appears that some cults with ties to intelligence
agencies are getting their mind control techniques into the
corporate world under the guise of "productivity enhancement
seminars" and "creativity" or "teaming workshops."  Several Wall
Street Journal articles have revealed how major corporations such
as Dupont and Allstate have sent their employees and managers for
such training. One recent article reported that Allstate was
subjecting its em- ployees on a nationwide basis to Scientology
training. Scientology is a wealthy and aggressive " religion" to
which the U.S. gov- ernment granted tax-deductible religious
status after a long battle. Scientology also has a reputation for
harassing and threatening its critics and ex- members. Its
founder L. Ron Hubbard had links to military intelligence during
World War Two, but fell into disfavor with the government when he
re- vealed secret mind control techniques in a book called
Dianetics. It is thought that Scientology has recently been
infiltrated by a crack cadre of intelligence operatives who have
taken positions on the boards of the various organizations.

On the job Cult Programming?

Call me paranoid, but I have a theory that the basic methods
described earlier -- increasing suggestibility through trauma-
production -- may eventually be used on a wider corporate scale
on employees under the pretext of "teaming" and/or "diversity" or
"productivity" training. In "teaming" workshops, the employee is
often persuaded to participate in a physically threatening form
of behavior for the purpose of forcing him to rely on his "team"
for protection. Might this anxiety producing behavior be
intentionally designed to increase the suggestibility of the
employee and produce an altered state of consciousness through a
"trauma regimen?" In this way an induced state of terror can be
manipulated to facilitate conditioning toward attitudes or
behaviors which benefit the company.

   Are we at the threshold of an era when mindless obedience to
the group/cult/team/ corporation will be created and used for
company purposes at the expense of the individual employees?
There is no question but that certain lifestyles or behavior
patterns can be reinforced in employees for the "benefit of the
team," the company, or the special interest groups that design
the curriculum for a given company. The "team" training can allow
the suggestibility level of the employees to be raised by trauma-
inducing exercises. "Diversity training" or "productivity
enhancement training" might be used as a vehicle for indoc-
trination of employees regarding acceptable lifestyles or
attitudes creating blind acceptance for attitudes which are said
to be "necessary" for the company to achieve its goals.

    In order to protect ourselves from organized manipulation of
the types described above, I suggest we quietly find out which
consulting firms are conducting the "teaming and diversity
training" for our re- spective corporate entities and then find
out if these are the same firms related to intelligence or
networked with other organ- izations which are described as the
major perpetrators of mind control.

   This conference was the first of its kind in which ritual
abuse survivors, therapists, psych- ologists, psychiatrists, and
experts in the field of mind control got together to discuss
similarities and differences. There was talk of holding similar
conferences in Phoenix, Maui, Seattle, and the San Francisco Bay
area within the next year.

   The consensus of opinion which emerged from this conference
was that "cult" ritual abuse, "alien abduction" experiences, and
government mind control appear to be one and the same thing.

ADOLPH HITLER, PROGRAMMED BY TRAUMA?

 An article in the May 1 issue of the New Yorker  mentions the
possibility that Adolph Hitler may have been "trauma programmed."

    This author, Ron Rosenbaum, claimed that two authors in the
70s independently determined that Hitler was hypnotized in a
hospital after having been traumatized by a war injury in World
War One.

     Rosenbaum reviewed theories regarding Hitler's alleg- edly
abusive parent's influence on his criminal behavior. Unfortun-
ately he didn't bother to tell anyone what the titles of the
books making these claims were. Nor did he offer a single
footnote.

Only One Blast?

A Navy acoustics expert who dealt with explosives claims there's
no way the bomb they claim was used in Oklahoma City could have
done what it did to the building. Another explosives expert told
us it had to have been a "shaped charge" that was "modeled by
computer" to explode the way it did.

  In an April 26 message, former FBI L.A. Director, Ted Gunderson
sent a fax to a number of patriotic friends describing a
"Barometric Bomb". Included in the package was a copy of a
seismographic chart from Oklahoma University showing a shock wave
at 9:02:13 a.m. and another at 9:02:23. Attached was an abstract
describing the operation of an electro-hydro-dynamic gaseous fuel
device that, Gunderson said, "according to reliable sources" was
the type bomb used in the Oklahoma City bombing. "It appears,"
Gunderson said, " the government keeps upgrading the size of the
vehicle and the "fertilizer" bomb to coincide with the damage."

   Above a rough diagram of the Barometric Bomb there was
written:: "The Device being described in this abstract has
previously been classified Top Secre... Technically it is con-
sidered an 'A-neutronic device' hence the designated ''" clear-
ance is required for information regarding it's consturction. For
the sake of security, the Electronic Detonation sequence shall
not be described herein due to the complexity of the scheme.

   "Basically the explosive is Ammonium Nitrate, however the
Ammonium Nitrate is detonated 10 to 15 seconds later in a
secondary and more powerful blast." The first explosion atomizes
the explosive material into a gas. The second explosion ignites
the gas and produces an " immediate atmospheric over- pressure
which has a tendency to blow out windows in structures near the
blast."

All The News That Fits

The April 29th New York Times carried a story which posed a
"vexing array of questions confronting Investigators" of the
Oklahoma City bombing:

    "Across the country, agents have been collecting pictures of
soldiers who served in the Persian Gulf war with Mr. McVeigh.
What happened to Mr. McVeigh during that war? Fellow soldiers say
he drove a Bradley Fighting Vehicle in the 100-hour ground attack
against Iraq. Bradley vehicles of the First Infantry Division,
with which he served, executed one of the war's most hard-nosed
operations, burying hundreds of wounded and living Iraqi soldiers
in their sandy trenches. Several people interviewed by the FBI.
have said that he came back from the war a changed man. One
friend said Mr. McVeigh had returned believing that the Army had
implanted a computer chip in his buttocks in order to keep him
under surveillance."

STONE ANGELS

   A Canadian survivor's group, The Stone Angels, placed an ad in
the "Globe & Mail" in early December to advertise an upcoming
workshop. They were surprise by the number of women who called
from across the country reporting Masonic ritual torture. Many
described medical experiments involving the use of eletricity and
other techniques in institutional or hospital-like settings. Most
reported they had been taken to military bases in Canada over the
decades, or had 'grown up' in a military or Masoic family. The
Anglican Church also played a significant role in their reports.

   The women reported  experiencing abuse as children by such
things as:

--  being held under water.
--  being swng around the room by their ankles,
--  being taken down a back stairs to a "club" for servicemen,
--  being put in a dark place or in a box or coffin with a
    decomposing corpse,
--  being made to eat feces,
--  being made to watch a butcher put human body parts through
    a sausage-making machine,
--  being made to submit to a circle of men who would urinate
    on them, etc.

   Military or air bases were often the location for rituals
involving electroshock, rubber sheets, being stuck with needles
and pins in various parts of the body and many other traumatic
experiences.

ADDITIONS TO FREE THINKING 5

In the lead story of Vol 1 Number 5, headlined: "Mind Control
Testimony Before President's Committee on Radiation," the
witnesses were unidentified or misidentified due to the
difficulty in transcription. The witness misidentified as
"Christine Nicola" was actually Christina Cola. The Witness
identified only as "Third Witness" was Claudia Mullen. All
witnesses used their real names. In Ms. Cola's testimony it was
reported that she said"... Donald Richard Edgars, my natureal
father, was involved with Dr. Green in the experiments." The name
should have read Donald Richard Ebner, and is so corrected at the
request of Ms. Cola.

Due to the fact that this medium was the only medium to report
the mind control survivor's testimony before the March 15, 1995
session of the President's Commission on Radiation, we shall
follow up in the next issue with a report on the supporting
documentation submitted by the witnesses and a brief interview
with Ms. Wolf.
