  AN INVENTORY OF THE UNUSUAL

  If there are extraterrestrial elements within reach of our senses and
  our understanding, we must try and see them for what they are. As an
  aid to this speculative but necessary effort, we have drawn up an
  inventory of things that seem unusual to us, or alien to our earthly
  civilization:

  The fourteen-thousand-year-old Kuhistan cave drawings which show Venus
  and Earth connected by lines.

  The unknown people of Glozel who knew how to write and made glass
  during the Stone Age.

  The prehistoric writings of Glozel.

  The Glozel pottery which seems to reproduce a flying saucer and the
  head of an astronaut.

  Flying saucers (if they exist).

  The 'orichalcum' of the Atlanteans, a metal mentioned in ancient text
  but never identified.

  The twenty-foot giant in the Tessali wall paintings (if they are
  genuine) who seem to be wearing a space suit. (The acrhaeologist Henri
  Lhote calls him 'the Martian')

  At Tiahuanaco: drawings of strange machines presumed to be related to
  space travel.

  The Venusian calendar on the Gate of the Sun.

  The four-fingered men of the less advanced carvings and statues at
  Tiahuanaco.

  The cylindrical flying machines engraved on pyramids that emerged from
  the water after an earthquake in the Yunan Province of China. In this
  region there are vestiges of a highly advanced but unknown
  civilization dating from forty-five thousand years ago, acccording to
  Professor Chi Pen Lao. The flying machines and the pyramids are
  connected with the extraterrestrial mythology of Tiahuanaco and
  Thebes.

  The secret science of Moses and ancient Egypt.

  Elijah's and Enoch's cosmic ttravels, and their accounts of them.

  The myth of Prometheus, whose extraterrestrial adventure is the same
  as that of the man of Tiahuanaco.

  The myth of Lucifer, the Vennusian bearer of the 'Black Stone,' who is
  also strikingly similar to the Man of Tiahuanaco.

  The stories of atomic wars in the Mahabharata.

  Sanskrit texts describing the use of mercury in jet aircraft.

  The Bagdad batteries, several thousand years old and scientifically
  manufactured with iron and  copper electrodes and an unknown
  electrolyte.

  Baalbek, the Great Pyramid, Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu, which
  represent an unknown construction technique.

  The secret of levitation.

  The 'chambers of the flying men' in Africa and South America.

  The description of the two satellites of Mars by Jonathan Swift
  (_Gulliever's Travels) a hundred fifty years before their scientific
  discovery, with the amazing statement that one of them oved faster
  than the other, which was not verified until 1877.

  The weather-resistant iron of the ancient piillar in Delhi.

  The Black Stones of Mecca, Titicaca, Lucifer and the Cathars, which
  according to tradition, come from Venus.

  The tektites found in Asia Minor, Australia and France.

  The 'Candlestick of the Andes,' a precision seismograph eight hundred
  feet high, carved into a cliff facing the Bay of Pisco.

  The stories in the Bible, and in the traditions of all countries, of
  an invasion of the earth by extraterrestrial beings, particularly from
  Venus.

  The explosion above Siberia in 1908.

  Plato's revelation that the Atlanteans were not of earthly origin.

  The maps of Piri Reis, copied from an aerial survey made during a
  preglacial era.
