Note: this article is over a year old so the gentleman in question may
no longer be available at the addresses listed.

Please be advised that an anonymous Orange County, CA gentleman has,
some years ago, made a phenomenally fascinating archaeological
discovery on the Island of Java which, in a display of uncommon
brilliance amongst the naive souls of the scientific community who
still trust our government, he decided to keep hidden from the
terrestrial powers that be.  He alleges to have found an
extraterrestrial artifact which possesses some incredible properties
and has made a full-scale graphic video presentation which he has
placed in the public domain.  The Omni / Antimatter Files section of
AOL contains these presentation files which are available for public
d/l.  The only caveat is that the files will correctly operate only on
a PC (sorry, MacUsers) equipped with Windows and a 16-million color
VGA card and driver. Since I only have a 256 color driver, I have only
been able to observe small portions of the presentation before
encountering countless GPFs, yet what little I have seen I find
extremely convincing.

Following is an excerpt of some of the text of the presentation:

"Human perception has its limitation.  To the casual viewer, the
artifact looks like nothing more than a collage of lines.  Looking
closer it becomes obvious that the lines have symmetry.  Nature,
ancient humans nor computer graphics created these images.  These
images were created by a superior intelligence that wanted to preserv
and convey a very important message. WARNING: some images may not be
pleasant to look at, others may invoke fear and awe.

"1) The artifact is an ancient image projector.  The appearance
    of the artifact dramatically changes when light of different
    colors and intensities is passed through it.  When light is
    passed through the gemstone, it illuminates and presents
    pictographs of animals, humans, humanoids and saucer-like
    shapes.

"2) The artifact is as large as an adult's closed hand.  The
    size of the artifact demands the use of macro photography.
    A Leica 35mm camera has been used with a macro lens to
    clearly capture and document the pictographs and other
    intelligent alterations.

"3) The entire surface of the artifact has been "worked".  The
    complete surface of the artifact is permeated with thousands
    of carved and inscribed micro-images.  An area the size of a
    dime may have as many as 20 images inscribed within it.

"4) A larger pictograph is the sum of many smaller pictographs.
    The pictographs are interwoven into each other.  A large
    pictograph can be built of many smaller images.  To an un-
    trained observer, the artifact's surface appears as nothing
    more than a collage of intersecting lines."

The nature of the Artifact makes it is necessary to have this
orientation before viewing it. Please be aware that the intent of this
orientation process is to assist you in viewing and comprehending the
properties of an artifact that was created by an Alien intelligence.


"Artifact #1"

Many of you might be wondering, "If this is agenuine extraterrestrial
artifact why doesn't the author go to the government  or to the
scientific community?" My answer to that obvious question is this: The
artifact is much more than just a thing. It has a personal message to
all of us and in my opinion it is paramount to share it with the
public domain. Do you sincerely believe that governments and certain
institutions want the general population to have knowledge of and from
another world? I think you can answer that question yourself.

This is not just another extraterrestrial story. This is the
exhibition of physical proof of Extraterrestrial intelligent life.
What you are about to experience is an event of millennium magnitude.

In 1974  in a remote area of Java Indonesia I acquired an artifact
that is from another time and another world.  For over 20 years I
have intentionally hidden this artifact from the world and I have even
attempted to destroy it. Since 1974 I have carried in silence a
guarded secret. At times this secret has been very difficult to carry.
I am compelled after all these years to share with you and the world
this profound  secret.

It is easy to dismiss this fantastic claim as fiction, but seeing is
believing. You will be the first to see with your own eyes and to
judge for yourself if this is fact or fiction. Please be informed it
will not be what  Hollywood has conditioned our minds to expect. What
you will experience is an exercise in journeying to the outer
boundaries of human perception.

In a sincere effort to assist  you in experiencing something not from
this world it is necessary for me to act as your guide. Sure, if it
was just Hollywood and fiction I could just say HERE IT IS! This is
real, and what you are about to experience is unlike anything you have
ever seen before.

You must know that it is extremely difficult for me to make this
effort. I have great reservations due to the complicated nature of the
artifact and its implications. My reluctance is not motivated by the
inevitable ridcule of skeptics. My hesitation has been rooted in the
belief that this artifact ushers in a tide of great change.

I present this artifact to you, now, in the hopes that the knowledge
gained from your experience will help us all cope with the changes
that are upon us.

This is not a story about me. I do not care to tell anyone my name.
This is not a commercial venture to entertain you for hopes of
economic rewards...this is real life. We live in cynical times when
few people can afford to trust their fellow human without the risk of
harm. I declare to you that my efforts are sincere.  I reach out to
you and ask you only to open your eyes and mind to what is about to
unfold before you.

It is easy to shelter our minds and our eyes from the unknown and it
is always reassuring to have an answer.  You probably wish you could
turn to the last page of this presentation to read the last sentence.
I can not blame you for your need to know the answer. This need is a
part of being human. You must be informed that there may not be an
immediate answer.

For those of you who can look with open eyes and mind I invite you to
enter a realm of perception hereto never experienced by humans. Only
you and you alone will be able to find your personal answer. However
amazing and incredible the claim I make to you is, be assured, it is
not fiction. Sure, we constantly hear and read of fantastic
unbelievable events of encounters with Aliens and many are laughable.
There will always be fantastic stories that lack physical evidence of
such claimed events.

It is easy to attempt to discredit me and to write this off as just
another UFO enthusiast that has looked at sun spots too long.  The
physical evidence I am about to present to you will speak for my
claim. You and the scientific community can be the judge and the jury.

This is history, and you are the very first to enter through the doors
of a new era of human perception and thought. We are all an active
part of the making of history and the doorsyou now enter through have
been waiting since the dawn of humanity to be opened.

This presentation is a photographic exhibition  of an ancient
"Artifact"  that  was created by an intelligence that was not human.
The physical existence of this "Artifact" and its alien
characteristics will be presented for your viewing.

The challenge of this work is a difficult one as it must not only
orientate you to the viewing of an alien artifact, but it must also
lay a credible foundation. The subject matter of this presentation by
its very nature defies credibility. My ongoing challenge is to bring
to you the facts that will support the credible.

This work is a labor that will exhibit the facts to you by using the
tools of modern photography and computer technology.  The evidence
presented to you will prove that the Artifact is the creation of an
alien thinking, feeling, creative being.

Your exploration will require an open objective mind. It is sometimes
difficult for us humans to be objective, because of preconceived
notions, labels and generalizations we place on things. Sure we can
look and our eyes can see, but when our minds are closed do we really
see?

Many of you have already made your own generalizations and drawn your
own conclusions without having ever viewed the Artifact.  I will
inform you that in order to see the profoundness and beauty of this
remarkable discovery leave your mental baggage and labels behind as we
begin this presentation.

In this age of technological miracles we would certainly like to
believe that modern science has all the answers. The oldest question
of humankind has yet to be answered, "Where do we come from and where
are we going?"  The sad truth is that our sciences and technologies
are bringing into question our survival as a species. We all know
modern science does not have all the answers.

This artifact is ancient and could possibly be as old as humankind.
The answers of how it has withstood the vicissitudes of time and where
and from who it comes from may possibly be found within it.


(Ancient Books)

It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. The use of
pictures and symbols to convey concepts are as old as humankind. We
know that early prehistoric humans recorded events and exchanged
thoughts by the use of pictures and symbols. Some of the oldest
records of human thoughts are found carved into the stone walls of
caves once inhabited by prehistoric humans.

New and old archeological discoveries of prehistoric people's
artifacts weave together a very broad record of human development
throughout the ages. This record of ancient human culture and thought
tells a story not in words, but in symbols and pictures.

Until recently, it was believed that prehistoric humans during the
Paleolithic era (40,000 years ago) used tools to carve pictures and
symbols in stone. This theory is now obsolete as it has been
discovered that Neanderthals over 100,000 years ago recorded
intelligent concepts by inscribing pictures and symbols on the hard
surfaces of bone and stone.Our earliest ancestors had to survive in an
inexplicable and hostile world. In their struggle for survival early
humans out of necessity developed and used and endowed ability, the
picture. The use of pictures and symbols ensured the survival of the
family and the tribe.

With the utilization of the symbol the early ancestors of humans began
to convey thoughts and communicate to each other. This process helped
them to cooperate in the hunting and gathering of food. Somewhere in
dawn of humankind it was discovered that the symbol could be recorded
on stone and other portable hard materials. These portable messages
were passed on to others to warn of danger, tell of good hunting
areas, or where water could be found. Such recorded messages conveyed
important  information that could act as a safe guide for the tribe.
The recorded written symbol could thus ensure the survival of the
tribe long after the original author of the information had passed
away.

It would appear by the artifacts left by ancient humans that there is
an instinctive need to pass knowledge of an important event or an idea
to future generations. By using tools to inscribe pictures and symbols
on stones and other hard materials ancient authors successfully
preserved their thoughts and ideas. Physical evidence supports the
fact that prehistoric humans have successfully passed their knowledge
through time with the power of the symbol.

Ironically, another seemingly innate characteristic of humans is to
destroy past knowledge and to manipulate new knowledge as a tool for
human exploitation. The great libraries of Alexandria and
Constantinople were put to flames by conquering armies.

The burning of books and the destruction of preserved knowledge has
been repeated throughout recorded history. The most ancient of known
books are found inscribed in ancient Sumerian and Egyptian stone.

Archeologists unerstand that because of a stones hardness and it's
ability to withstand the destructive forces of man and nature it makes
an excellent material to use for preserving recorded information.
Archaeologist call stones that have been "worked" with inscriptions of
symbols and pictures on their surface, petroglyphs. The oldest
examples of recorded thoughts expressed by ancient humans are
petroglyphs.  For Archaeologists petroglyphs are ancient books that
open a page to our past.  These ancient books allow them to get a
small glimpse into the minds and cultures of prehistoric humans

The "worked" symbols or pictures that are found on a petroglyphs
surface that take the shapes and forms of animals, people, or things
are what Archaeologists call pictographs. Often just one simple
pictograph may express very complex concepts that would take 1000's of
words to explain.Maybe that is why we say "a picture is worth a
thousand words."

Conventional Archaeological wisdom holds that before agriculture and
the first cities Neolithic humans lived at the mercy of the forces of
nature.Their chief concern was with sustaining and increasing their
food supply.In their struggle to survive they sought the protection of
a supreme deity the Great Mother-source of all life, creator and
destroyer, mistress of death and resurrection. The oldest known
artifact that gives a physical reference to the symbol of the Great
Mother is dated over 24,000 years old!

These ancient stone petroglyphs are testimonies to the fact that
carved symbols in stone are the most ancient books we humans have to
read and to learn about our lost past.

cleanroom carefully mount the Voyager interstellar record on one of
the space craft." Each Voyager spacecraft carries on it a record that
tells of us humans. The instructions on how to get access to the
information stored on these gold plated digital records are symbols.
Our greatest scientific minds concluded that the sybol is the
universal language.Each Voyager is like a bottle with a note inside
it, thrown into the cosmic ocean. Perhaps in a few million years it
will wash up on some interstellar shore.

Maybe, just maybe intelligent beings out there will find it and know
that they are not alone in the vastness of this galaxy.  Pictures and
symbols are the oldest most universal form of language.


"#3" (Precious Stone)

Since the dawn of human kind people the world over have valued
precious stones. Ancient as well as modern people harbor beliefs that
certain gemstones carry magical protective and healing qualities.
Recorded history tells us that many past civilizations sought
protection from the trepidation of life and death by the wearing of
precious stones.

Six thousand years ago the inhabitants of Ur of Chaldees (Sumerians)
attributed magical protective properties to the wearing of gemstones.
They believed that certain colored gemstones were the embodiment of
the Sun, Moon and Stars. Gemstones were fashioned into seals and
jewelry objects which it was believed would bring their owners good
fortune and health.

This ancient civilization had an industry of stone carvers and cutters
who inscribed magical symbols into rock crystal, band agate, amethyst
and other hard gemstones. Many cultures even today still believe in
the lore of the healing and luck properties associated with the
wearing of certain gemstones that have been inscribed with magical
symbols. Carved and Inscribed gemstones that are carried and worn by
people are called amulets and talisman.

In ancient Egypt craved talisman in the shape of the scarab beetle
carried hieroglyphics inscribed on their surface. These were buried
with the dead to assure eternal life.  An entire industry of gemstone
cutters and inscribers flourished for centuries due to this religious
belief. The scarabs for the common Egyptian were usually carved from
very soft quality stones. For the rich Egyptians and the Pharaohs
family only the hardest and most beatiful of gem stones were worked
into the scarab beetle shape. These finer scarabs were usually carved
from carnelian, crystal, lapis and sometimes turquoise that took
months of work to craft.Examples of these fine inscribed gemstone
carvings have survived man and time for over 4,000 years.

During the Han Dynasty of China (206 BC-200 AD) not only was the great
stone wall of China built, but also a great civilization. At the time
of the first Great Han Emperor gemstone carvers flourished as it was a
common belief that jades carved with certain "magical" symbols would
bring the wearer good luck and fortune. The earliest origins of
China's gemstone traditions are believed to be as old as China.
Fantastic examples of jade talisman and amulets with micro
inscriptions and micro 3D base reliefs is a legacy of China's master
artisans. This Chinese tradition of carving and wearing jade gemstones
still survives today.

The ancient Romans also were excellent gemstone cutters and carvers.
During the Roman Empire a noble citizen wore their family's seal
carved in a gemstone and mounted in a ring. The high nobility and the
wealthy houses possessed the finest and rarest gemstone insignia. Many
of the Roman insignia that have survived the millennia are an
expression of highly sophisticated artistic skills.

Before the Spanish invasion of the conquistadors into Central and
South America there were great centers of civilization. The Incas,
Mayans, and Aztec (BC-AD) were sophisticated societies that left a
treasure of beautiful gemstone carvings. Very hard gemstones such as
jade, hematite, carnelian, serpentine, crystal and agate were carved
into figures of humans and animals that carried symbols inscribed on
their surface.

Many extraordinary examples of amulets and talisman that have been
uncovered from the ruins of these past Central and South American
empires express a highly developed gemstone cutters art.

In the ancient middle east lived mysterious people called the
Gnostics. These nomadic peope flourished in western Asia and Egypt
between 250 BC and AD 400. They believed in the magical properties of
carved gemstone amulets and wore them for protection as they traveled
the ancient world in their quest for a higher knowledge.  Some of
their beliefs centered around the conviction that certain gemstones
possessed the powers of the heavenly bodies and that they could heal
and protect the wearer. The Gnostics attached great importance to the
name of GOD and the Archangels. Many of their amulets were inscribed
with God's name (IAW) in Greek uncials. The Gnostic carved gemstones
that survive today are living expressions of a skilled people.

On the subcontinent of India ancient Buddhist and Hindu civilizations
held gemstones as the highest pinnacle of worldly wealth. Great
Empires flourished from the soil of India that have given the world
some of it's most wonderful carved gemstone treasures.

All over the world throughout the existence of humans there is a
reoccurring act of labor that survives the test of time and leaves the
legacy of humans behind. This act of labor is the carving and
inscribing of pictures and  symbols on gemstones.

New archaeological finds continue to rewrite our story of man and his
passage through time. The famous Ice Man discovered Frozen in the
Swiss Alps in 1991 clearly demonstrates how limited our Knowledge is
of our ancestors. This Neolithic man carried with him to his icy grave
artifacts that have allowed us to get a glimpse of his ancient world.
Of interest he wore around his neck a gemstone amulet that had carved
on its surface symbols.  Maybe this was his magical shield of
protection for his life's and death's journey.

Gemstones have a great attraction and lore to them. History has
recorded many wars that have been fought for their possession and
history itself tells us that a Kingdoms wealth is represented by it's
crown jewels.

As recently as the 1990's we have witnessed the New Age movement that
harbors beliefs in the healing powers of crstals and other gemstones.
Imagine, modern educated 20th century people from all walks of life
superstitiously believing in the mystical powers of gemstones! Could
it be that even modern humans can not break away from the power of
ancient beliefs?

Gemstones are actually a composite of minerals that are the most
erosive resistant materials found in nature. The beauty of such
mineral compositions depend upon their transparency, luster, or color.
In some cases the play of color, due to the modification of rays of
light reflected from the surface or transmitted through the stone
gives a gemstone it's depth of beauty.

The Artifact you are about to view is an exquisite translucent
gemstone petroglyph.  When Light is transmitted through the artifact
it emanates the color of the sun and projects 3-dimensional
holographic images. A technology is demonstrated that transcends
ancient or modern man's capabilities. The pictographs (symbols and
pictures) inscribed and carved into its surface convey concepts of an
exceptional intelligence.

The past civilizations of the world although they possessed extremely
sophisticated gemstone craving skills did not have the intellect nor
