	Y2K Millennium Bug: The Latest Fear Fad, by Pastor Peter J. Peters,

	"I sought the Lord and he answered me, and delivered me from all my
fears." (Psalm 34:4) David knew there were times as a warrior he needed
delivered not only from battle, enemies, plagues, etc., but from FEARS. The
Christian soldier today, likewise, needs delivered from fears. Fears
created and sent by his enemy and promoted by the Judeo-Christian doom and
gloom theologians and marketed by the Kosher-Conservative gurus and fear
marketers. The latest is Y2K a.k.a. The Millennium Bug.

	What is Y2K? They tell us it is the world wide computer problem that
allegedly looms on the horizon and when the clock strikes midnight January
1, 2000, the world will be struck with chaos, paralysis, destruction and
catastrophes. Why? Because of computer programs that have two digits
instead of four digits will read the year 2000 as 1900. However, few are
telling you what it really is! The latest fear fad.

	Fear Fads: Perhaps you've never heard the term but it is about time
someone calls the manufactured fears what they are. Y2K is simply the
latest. There's been a lot of them and like the fads they are, they simply
come and go to be replaced by another.

	Let's just name a few. In the 50s and 60s the fashionable fear fad was the
nuclear holocaust, nuclear chain reaction and nuclear winter. More recent
ones have been global warming and losing the ozone layer. The list is
really quite long. Population explosion, killer viruses, killer bees,
biological terrorism, concentration camps, UFOs and UFO abductions,
volcanic eruptions, stopping the growing season and bringing famine,
economic collapse, California falling into the sea, planets lining up and
causing destruction, AIDS, etc., etc. Then, there is another list in the
Judeo-Christian church world promoted by another brand of fear profiteers
like the Hal Lindsey's. The religious fear fad of the late seventies was
the "Late Great Planet Earth" (Of course they continue to preach of the
coming tribulation and the Mark of the Beast, etc.)

	As I point out in our nine part tape series entitled "The Last Days"
(available for a $48.00 offering) the fact that the prophecies of these
religious doom and gloom profiteers never come to pass seems to make little
difference. For example, after Hal Lindsey made a fortune off his book "The
Late Great Planet Earth" and nothing happened, he simply wrote another book.

	Take for example a Judeo-Christian fear profiteer minister by the name of
Lloyd. (Remember he and his buddy Mr. Baker were the ones who have
unsuccessfully tried to portray to the radio world the Identity Truth as a
lie). This man spouting on the radio and in print that the Y2K Millennium
Bug crisis would snarl and crash a large number of computers July 1, 1998.
He also predicted the death of 1.5 billion people, the destruction of New
York City, Miami and Los Angeles and war in June and the beginning of some
Great Tribulation. And as always, time exposes the false prophets and fear
marketeers, but no one seems to care.

	When the false prophecies of the Fear Profiteer ministers fail to come to
pass, their ministries continue on. They are on the radio the next week. I
don't claim to understand the psychology of it all except to suggest that
there are people who seem to like to be scared. It is much like when I was
a child and loved to go to the scary monster movies. It was fun to be
frightened. Except, instead of waiting for the next scary movie to come to
town, the supports of such men as the Hal Lindseys, Lloyds, Gary Norths and
the Dan McAlvanys, etc., wait to hear the latest fear fads. It all makes
for great radio programs and newsletters. The psychology of it all may be
hard to understand but the marketing is not.

	Fear Marketeers and Their Methods: Christ warned of the false prophets
(Matthew 7:15) and said they could be identified by their fruits (Matthew
7:20). Many conservative Christian men and women concerned for the future
of their country and their posterity are being mislead by the Fear
Marketeers posing as conservative Christian leaders who, in reality, are on
the same side as the enemies of Christianity. One of their fruits, they
proclaim bad news and then profit themselves off the bad news and seldom if
ever do they proclaim the good news. The good news is that Christians can
overcome and conquer the so-called New World Order (1 John 5:4-5). The word
"gospel" means, in the Greek, good news, but they proclaim the bad news.

	Bad news is good news for two groups of people. Your enemies and their
allies the Fear Marketeers. Think about it. When you enemy hears of bad
news about to happen to you, to him it is good news.

	Also bad news is good news for the Fear Profiteers who take the fear fed
to us by our enemies and market them, while posing as conservatives who are
concerned for your health, safety and welfare. God's people need to learn
to recognize the Babylonian pitches, rhetoric and marketing of the
merchants of Babylon. (Revelation 18) Just as our enemies use words as
their weapons, so these Merchant Fear Profiteers use fear based motivating
words and techniques.

	A good example of this is the report I received from Gary North's camp.
Mr. North, who is the son-in-law of Rousas Rushdoony, claims to be a
reconstrucitonist and is billed by his organization as a "Y2K Expert." The
report from his camp entitled: "The Day the World Shuts Down' subtitled "A
Special Report on the Year 2000 Computer Crisis and What it Means to You,"
by Bruce Tippery offers a Y2K Preparation, Protection and Survival Kit. It
gives a phone number which I called and the person on the other end
answered "Gary North's Firestorm Chats." How clever, Mr. Bruce Tippery
writes the report and refers to Mr. North as a Y2K expert. It is sent out
by Mr. North and offers a survival kit sold by phoning a number which
answers "Gary North's Firestorm Chats." I have listed the following
selected quotes from the report to show the scary and fearful words they
use in it.

	The Day The World Shuts Down: "I want to give you a brief overview of the
critical nature of this Qlooming global disaster,' and the Qdramatic' and
Qpotentially dangerous' changes it's going to make in your life over the
next 12 months and beyond...In a nutshell, the Y2K problem is the Qtrigger
that is about to cause a massive, date sensitive worldwide computer crash-a
crash of such gargantuan proportions that it will literally bring down
governments.'
	As economist and Y2K expert Dr. Gary North states, QToday we face the
mother of all bank runs.'
	And the Qtruly scary part' is, there is no reliable way to stop this from
happening. No quick fixes. No special software to alleviate the problem.
	The Center for Disease Control has been unable to confirm whether or not
the anti-contamination systems for lethal viruses, bacteria and other
deadly disease-carrying organisms they have in storage will be operational
in the event of Y2K-related power grid problems. These pathogens include
some of the most Qghastly and terrifying biological agents known to man.'
Will the CDC be able to keep them under control?
	In short, because of the growing acceleration of public awareness of Y2K,
you don't have very much time to prepare for what will soon be known as
Qthe greatest social, political and financial crisis mankind has faced
since the great plagues of the 14th century that wiped out one-third of
Europe.'"

	I say to those I pastor, learn to recognize the marketing techniques of
the Fear Profiteers. The technique in Gary's propaganda is used in many
markets form parasite cleanses to smoke alarms, from insurance to patriot
survival expos. The survival expos are, in reality, patriot flea markets
where Kosher Conservative speakers (who never point out the real enemies of
Christianity and our country) scare the heaven's counter part out of the
audience who then go through the flea market to buy everything from gold
and silver to generators and food storage.

	Also, learn to recognize the bait. Again, I use quotes from North's clever
work to illustrate. As you read the following quotes, you'll no doubt see
in your minds eye a carnival midway pitch man at the fair or some smooth
talking ex-car salesman doing an infomercial on television: "In less than

	Promoting the Enemy's Propaganda: As we show in our 13 part tape series

enemies use words as weapons against us. What most do not see is how the
Judeo-Christian Kosher Conservatives like Gary North or Don McAlvany take
the words of our enemies and broadcast them, making a profit in the process.

	In warfare, the enemy can withhold valuable information or can leak faulty
information for a specific purpose. Where do the so-called Y2K experts get
their information? From the enemies of Christianity and our country! Only
as Judeo-Christians, they don't call them enemies rather they call them
"God's Chosen People." The Bible tells us otherwise: "...even many
antichrists have arisen..." (1 John 2:18) "Who is the liar but the one who
denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies

	The Bible tells us these very people are trying to deceive us: "...these
things I have written to you concerning those who are trying to deceive
you." (1 John 2:25) These are the people who own the lying, deceiving,
opinion forming media. The most the Kosher Conservative types like North
and McAlvany will do is call the media liberal. But do they tell you it's
owned and operated by antichrist Jews with a one world Zionist agenda? The
Bible tells us the world listens to these antichrists (1 John 4:5), but
pray tell why sane Christian people would listen to the Fear Profiteers who
not only listen to the antichrists but proclaim their Lying Propaganda!

	There is on document for world conquest known as "The Protocols of the
Learned elders of Zion" that was captured at the turn of the century. The
Judeo-Christian, Fear Marketeers know about, but they either ignore or try
to repudiate it. (When are we going to wake up to the fact that they are
all on the same side?)

	The following is from Protocol #2: "it is in the PRESS that the triumph of
freedom of speech finds its incarnation. But the goyim (Christian or
non-Jew) States have not known how to make use of this force; and it has
fallen into our hands. Through the PRESS WE HAVE GAINED THE POWER TO
INFLUENCE WHILE REMAINING OURSELVES IN THE SHADE, THANKS TO THE PRESS WE
HAVE GOT THE GOLD IN OUR HANDS, notwithstanding that we have had to gather
it out of oceans of blood and tears."

	It is from the PRESS and the enemy that men like North and McAlvany get
their information. For example, Don McAlvany put out an "Urgent Bulletin"
on the Y2K Crisis and said "Experts are plain scared. Read what experts
have to say about the problem." Then he quotes from The Sunday Times of
London, Newsweek, Wallstreet Journal, Financial Times of London, Alan
Greenspan of the Federal Reserve System, The Central Bankers of G-10, The
Chief Information Officer of the IRS and the Chief Economist of a New York
Global investment banking firm.

	So-called Y2K expert Gary North quoted Newsweek several times and refers
to The Wallstreet Journal, The Financial Times of London and an English
publication called The Economist.

	Such men have done no independent research of their own; they are simply
telling their followers what they are being told by our enemies. One
wonders why our enemies are so concerned for our economic well being and
future.

	How About A Different Spin: "Spin" is a term well understood in the
journalism business (and the fear marketeer business). It gets in your mind
the feeling and ideas they want regardless of the truth. One of the ways it
is done is through select quotes i.e., quoting only those telling what they
want told or at least having a majority of the quotes telling what they
want told.

	The following gives another impression of Y2K and was graciously gathered
for us by Charles Weisman

	Alternative Perspectives on the Y2K Problem: "Thomas Whorton, of SunSystem
Designs, states that Q82% of companies have overestimated Y2K costs to
their company due to media hype on the matter."

	In the July 1997 issue of Commputerworld, a former computer consultant
says that the Y2K problem is "the biggest fraud perpetrated by consultants
on the business community since re-engineering." He states that "The silver
bullet is here. The programmers have scanning technology and text editors;
you just go through and look for dates." After you fix the code once you
find it, it is "business as usual."

	Dean Nice of Computer Consultants, Inc., (and former programmer for IBM),
thinks the Y2K is a minor matter, good for selling snake oil repairs. He
says "businesses need only spend a little extra money on new hardware and
then transfer the old data to the new system.

	Michael Wainscoat, of GCS Software company (California) says Y2K is no
dooms day, nor will it result in social and economic chaos. It may,
however, cause some temporary mishaps and short term recession.

	Thomas Keller, Computer Consultant (Lincoln, Nebraska) says, "The Y2K
problem is not a bug. It is a deliberately created problem. Any program
written after 1970 that uses a two digit year field was clearly written by
people who were either lazy or stupid."

	Keith Alexander, Lead Software Developer (Connecticut) "It seems that from
reading the headlines on Y2K, that all the mass media goes with scare
tactics for these articles. No matter what the Y2K problem may cause, we
will be able to get on the phone with someone and say, QI don't think I
really owe you a hundred years of interest do I?'; People will still be
there January, 20000, so it's really not that scary is it?

	Gary Bushuyev, Sr. R&D Engineer, stated regarding personal computer: "The
so-called millennium bug is almost 100% hoax in the PC world. I am not
aware of a single program that I used or wrote for the last 15 years
working on PC's that would not use a long format for dates. So most
probably year 2000 will not affect anybody working on a PC."

	Bill Wexler, Computer Consultant, says: "The computer industry has to deal
with its own big, ugly hoax-it's called Qthe year 2000 problem.' I was
asked by a skeptic, QIf Y2K is a hoax, then why are companies like
Citicorp, Chase Manhattan, The Southern Company, International Paper, and
Provident, forking out millions and millions of dollars to address a hoax?'
To this I replied, QThese companies are spending millions of dollars so
they will not have problem in the year 2000. They would not spend money on
an unfixable problem. There are thousands of companies that are not
spending a dime on the problem because they have already taken care of the
matter.' Wexler further says, "As with any scam, science and reason have
been left in a dumpster."

	David Gillett, a Network Software Engineer for 20 years, states that, "The
Y2K situation is fixable. There are many companies which are now in the
business of fixing this problem. They are competing for business, and are
concerned about being out of business by the year 2000. There are over a
thousand ex-military COBOL programmers willing to travel for jobs to remedy
systems that are not Y2K compliant."

	Y2K, Conspiracy and Warfare: They, i.e., the antichrist enemies of
Christianity and our new promised land America war against us. As we
clearly point out in our thirteen pat tape series "The Unseen War," their
method of cursing us is to get us to violate the laws God has given His
people. That is what Jew Hollywood teaches and entice the people to
fornicate. It brings the wrath or the judgment of our God upon us.
Likewise, the Jew owned and controlled media gives us the fear fads. Time
after time, God has directed us in His World to fear not. Jesus told us,
"Do not be anxious then, saying what shall we eat or what shall we drink or
with what shall we clothe ourselves (in the year 2000). Therefore do not be
anxious for tomorrow for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough
trouble of its own." (Matthew 6:31, 34)

	Christ came that we might have peace. "Peace I leave with you; My peace I
give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart
be troubled nor let it be fearful." (John 14:27) Notice in their spinning
how the Judeo-Christian Fear Marketeers and the Doom and Gloom preacher
profiteers fail to quote such Scriptures.

	The enemy knows it is impossible for Christ's people to live in pace and
at the same time worry. They also know it is our faith that causes us to
overcome and conquer the New World Order (John 5:4-5) and they know fear
and faith cannot exist at the same time.

	Exodus chapter one verse ten tells how a people once successfully
conspired to enslave and plunder God's people. The Protocols of the Learned
Elders of Zion tells how it can be done again in modern times and as we
draw near the year 2000 and look back on the history of the past century,
we see how it has been done.

	For example, let's consider how they got all our gold. (Remember once upon
a time our people had gold coins for currency). In 1929, they created an
economic crash; and most people today do not know how they did it.

	They turned their propaganda machines on and influenced the people to
invest in the stock market. Newspaper articles told of the riches to be
made in the stock market. Books were written on how to retire by age thirty
by investing in the market and the financial gurus of that day (like North
and McAlvany) spouted the party line of the enemy. People were even
encouraged to borrow money on their homes and farms and invest in the stock
market. After all, it was only good economic sense to borrow money at 3%
interest and make 10% or more off of it in the stock market. This is what
the people were doing and in the process, they were signing demand notes.
When everybody is investing in the stock market, it goes up and up. Then
after it went so high, the insiders quietly began to sell out (The Bush
family and the Kennedy's were part of this group). Once they had cashed
out, the word went out to the banks to call in the loans covered with a
demand note and mortgage, thus, forcing the people to sell stock to pay off
their loans. When everyone sells, the stock market goes down and in 1920,
it came crashing down.

	What were the results? Well the insiders who now had the cash were able to
buy stocks for pennies on the dollar and thus buy up much of corporate
America. The banks who hadn't lent anything of substance were able to get
farms and homes through foreclosures.

	More importantly, the Jewish Socialist President Rosenfelt, who went by
the name Roosevelt, then began the Communist Socialization of America. In
the process, a bank holiday was declared and the people's gold was, in
reality, confiscated.

	That was 1929 and we now are close to 1999. How could they, seventy years
later, again conspire to economically rape and plunder the people? Well,
today, there is no gold to speak of in the hands of the people. But there
is something else they do not like in the hands of people and it is called
cash or Federal Reserve Notes and it is used in a somewhat underground
economy that they are not able to parasitically tap into. So how can you
engineer a crash today and confiscate the cash currency out of the hands of
the people?

	One way could possibly be through a new fear fad. Remember how it worked
with the fear fad called AIDS. According to the Fear Marketeers parroting a
party line concerning AIDS in the late eighties, there should be millions
dying of aids. Gene Antonio's book "The AIDS Cover Up" (Ignatius Press, San
Francisco, 1986) said three million people unknowingly had AIDS in 1986 and
the figure would double every year. If that were true, then several billion
should be dead today. What came out of the AIDS fear fad was the health
legislation they wanted. So what could come out of the Y2K fear fad?

	If enough people will believe it and act upon it, conceivably enough
people could cash in stocks and withdraw cash out of the banks to cause a
crash. Like it or not, the present day Babylonian banking system is based
on faith. It doesn't take very many people to withdraw cash to bring on a
1929 bank holiday. Then conceivably laws could be passed against cash as
was once passed against gold. Think about it. Why are our enemies so
concerned about our economic well being as to warn us about a Y2K problem?

	In Mr. North's publication, we are told, "This tragedy is about to occur
for one simple reason; lack of foresight." What nonsense. Anyone who has
studied the antichrist conspiracy knows one thing that is not lacking is
foresight. (Again read the Protocols)

	It was Newsweek magazine that broke the Y2K story in 1997 with the front
cover words "The Day the World Crashes-Can we Fix the 2000 Computer Bug
before It's Too Late?" Guess how North's outfit starts their report? That's
right; by quoting Newsweek, "Newsweek calls it Qthe day the world shuts
down,' and Qthe event that could all but paralyze the planet.'"

	What reputable sane Christian Conservative leader would read or believe,
let alone quote as his ally, Newsweek? (Remember in April, 1997, this
magazine did a slanderous, lying article against Pastor Peters claiming
they had interviewed me when I never once spoke to them. See Scriptures for
America Newsletter, Vol. 3, 1997). They don't call us dumb goyim for
nothing. Would that we were smart enough (as they are - Luke tells us in
Luke 16:8 that the children of darkness are more wise than the children of
light: Christians: "And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he
had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation
wiser than the children of light." in worldly things) to know that God's
Word teaches us that what we fear comes upon us (Job 3:25). No wonder then,
He has told us not to fear. In fact, He has told us He Himself would bring
our fears upon us, "I also will choose their delusions, and will bring
their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I
spoke, they did not hear; but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose
that in which I delight not." (Isaiah 66:4)

	It's very conceivable that by listening to the propaganda of our
antichrist enemies and their Judeo-Christian Fear Marketeer and refusing to
obey such Scriptures as Matthew 6:25-34 or Philippines 4:6-7, Y2K fear
becomes a reality. Not because it itself is a reality or true but because
we believe a lie and act upon it.

	Warning - Do Not Listen to the Fear Marketeers: Jesus warned us of the
false prophets (Matthew 7:15) and told us we would know them by their
fruits (Matthew 7:20). Beware of these so-called experts in the financial
field who using fear as a motivator, sell you their survival kits,
investment kits, gold and silver, food storage, etc. My experience is mot
of them are far from experts and have little financial wisdom.

	As an example, I remember an old acquaintance of mine, his name was Bill
Kennedy. He and I were in the John Birch Society together while attending
Colorado State University in the late 60s. He became an insurance salesman
who one day declared himself an economic adviser and authority. He formed a
company called Western Monetary Consultants selling gold, silver and
precious gems. He would hold what he called War Colleges and had ex-General
Westmoreland as a speaker and would frighten people into buying, borrowing
on their homes leveraging, etc. He got wealthy and famous, in fact, he was
a guest twice in the Oval Office of the White House. Today he is in prison
and a lot of people lost their fortunes by listening to a man who simply
proclaimed himself as an expert of some sorts. It seems greed often
overtakes the Fear Profiteers and they whore themselves to the ways of our
enemies.

	The Fear Fads make great radio programs and fear radio is eagerly
sponsored by the sellers of gold and silver. Seldom are the people told of
the dangers of putting trust in gold or silver rather than Jesus Christ.
(By the way, I'll sell you the 100 oz. Of silver I bought in 1973. It was a
lousy investment). When the economy and government of ancient Judah
collapsed we are told in Lamentations 4:1 how good an investment gold,
silver and precious stones were. "How dark the gold has become. How the
pure gold has changed. The sacred stones are poured out at the corner of
every street." Also read Ezekiel 7:19 if you think gold and silver are some
great survival investments. Psalm 33:16-19 tells us who to fear and what
will deliver us from death and keep us alive in famine. Only the Fear
Marketeers do not tell us.

	Lastly: I do not want my readers to think I oppose preparation and
survival. The truth is this ministry had a special book written and printed
twelve years ago entitled "You Have Been Warned" alerting people and
teaching them how to make wise prudent preparations. (This book is
available for a $5.00 offering) I felt such a book was necessary if I was
to be a wise shepherd of the flock God has given me to minister to.

	Here is a point the Judeo-Christian Fear Fad promoters are not telling
you. We have been called to be more than survivors. We have been called to
be overcomers and to wage spiritual battle against our enemies (Ephesians
6:10-19). The weapons of our warfare are powerful for the destruction of
fortresses (2 Corinthians 10:4) but we seem to behave as defeated,
frightened, fearful people who can only wait for the return of Christ. The
truth is we could all pray against our enemies. After all, Jesus came to
save us from our enemies. (Luke 1:71)

	If everyone who reads this newsletter would pray with faith, the Y2K plans
of our enemies would easily be foiled and the Judeo-Christian Fear
Marketeers exposed. Pray that the pit they dig for us becomes their grave
and the stone they roll to crush us becomes their capstone. (Proverbs
26:27) And pray He delivers you from all the fears they deliver to us.
