In Oriental Martial Arts there are well worked techniques for defeating
your enemy by "going with him". Is that what Belgrade is doing now? If it
negotiates a peace settlement and accepts sovereignty for all or part of
Kosovo while leading a campaign to balkanize North America at the same
time the result will be most interesting indeed!

One sure way of showing the world what this hypocrisy really is is to have
a First Nation which is in both US and Canada canvas UN General Assembly
members for acceptance into the General Assembly. First Nation enclaves
can make an even stronger case for acceptance of their self-determination
by the community of nations than the ethnic Albanians in Kosovo. The
ethnic Albanians cannot say they were in that region before the Serbians.
Indeed I think the opposite could be argued. But First Nations which are
in both Canada and USA like the Mohawk Nation were definitely there before
the likes of Axworthy who is making his trek to Moscow this week to seek
"peace" even while the Canadian Navy prepares for its role of pirate in an
unjust war.
