I just happened to notice an article in the INTELLIGENCE REPORT, A
publication of the Southern Poverty Law Center (KlanWatch) Dec '93
issue about BBS's being used to connect anti-government malcontents
nationwide. This organization has obviously been monitoring various
BBS's. They used the term "FAX Networks", but from the context of the
article it sounded like BBS's.If they were intercepting FAX
transmissions I assume that would entail some type of digital
wiretapping. I've always assumed that certain BBS's were monitored by
opposing groups, but here was proof. They even cited specific messages
from specific people. Liberty Lobby's name came up in the article, as
did the John Birch Society. There were references to cryptic messages.
PGP?

I jotted down some of the text, so if I can read my own writing, here
goes. " ...the fax networks carry social and political propaganda
written by "Christian Patriots" who have little else in common but
their fear and distrust of government...The patriotic community
attracts a wide variety of anti-government individuals who fit into
one or more of several catagories including conspiracy junkies,
revolutionary types, militant tax protesters & white
supremists...opposition to Clinton policies and New World Order.

I'm not a white supremists. I have nothing against other races. I'm
not an anti-Semite, but I am a christian and I am distrustful of the
government, Clinton policies, and the NWO. I don't like being spied on
or catagorized with white supremistist/anti-Semites. I probably am a
conspiracy junkie though. That conspiracy paranoia is probably from
thinking that people are spying on me.
