Your mention of drugs reminded me of something that I read:
"Alcohol is a depressant; it dulls the mind and body. It prevents

workers whose minds must be dulled from thinking to clearly and
sharply about there condition and the system in which they are
trapped. The custom of heading straight from work for the bar is the

I don't beleive I need to use drugs and I am not condoning there use
but these thoughts I feel are quite true.
