Comments from the peanut gallery... on Kundalini

I'll leave the eloquence to Don DeGracia... he did an excellent
job with his "little" help file!  A "must add" for the
recommended reading list!  I won't promise that this will be
formal, ('cause I'm not really a formal kinda guy) but I will
try to keep this at least a little organized.

Ahem!  The subject is Kundalini...  We had discussed it a bit
in the Psychic Development class (meets Tuesday nights) while
going off on a wild tangent, but since I "have" it... or maybe
it "has" me (?)  I'd like to share my less than scientific
findings on the subject... so I'm telling this from personal
experience, rather than going back and consulting all two of
my books on the subject  so bear with me!  I'm better at
giving suggestions as to how to deal with something than I am
at explaining exactly what it is!  + 


*Initial Word of Caution*

I'm not really fond of being serious either, but I guess I should
be in this case:  Kundalini is very real, very serious, and can be
VERY difficult to deal with.  Once it has been activated or
"released," it's a one way road... as far as I know, it cannot
be stuck back into its little Pandora's Box and forgotten.  I
think that the best rule of thumb is that when you are "ready"
for it to be awakened, synchronisity, coincidence, or your
"Guide" will cause you and It to cross paths.

Enough of that!  On to the gory details!


*Parts and Pieces*

There are two primary aspects of Kundalini to be aware of:
The rising Force itself, and the "material" which is ejected
as a result of Kundalini cleaning out the Nadis.  The Kundalini
force itself is a pretty simple concept:  Raw Power!  The
material cleaned out of the Nadis' is another concept entirely...

The Naughty Nadis 

According to what I've read (not much! ) there are three
primary Nadis in the spinal column which the Kundalini force
cleans out as it rises.  If I recall correctly (questionable!)
the Nadis are nerve pathways.  Common sense, basic physics, and
maybe metaphysics would lead one to the conclusion that whatever
is displaced has to go somewhere, right?  In my case, which
somewhat mirrors what I'd read, the three Nadis "dump" out at
a point just above and between the physical eyes, as well as
from both temples.

I won't go into all of the gory details about how to direct the
flows and such, because if you don't have Kundalini, none of it
will make much sense, and there are plenty of books you can get
which would probably explain it better than I ever could! 

I'm going to include a few of the "poems" which I wrote dealing
with the "stuff" at the end of this, so enjoy or delete!!!!!
If you *do* have Kundalini, check into the "meditation" aspect of
Tai Chi... specifically the "hanging from a string" part, the
"tuck," and most especially the breathing part of it... also, and
you'll *love* this  check out the symbolism of the ancient
egyptians... the Sundisk comes in *very* handy!

The "bottom line" regarding the flows is that "they" apparently
need to be "processed."  This "processing" as far as I know it,
is done by making a circuit of the flow:  It flows up the spine,
over the face and down to the crotch (root chakra)... So what I
do (on an energy level) is *inhale* up my back, *exhale* from my
nose down to my crotch, with a (kinda) follow-through by "hooking"
the flow as far up the spine as possible.... what this is is actually
just associating or linking the "material" of the flows to my breath,
just like you would "breath in" through a chakra to clear it...
Make sense?  Kinda?     After I figured this out, it took me about
ten minutes of this cyclic breathing to "clean things up" enough so
that my glasses wouldn't keep bouncing around on my face... Now it takes
about three breaths to get it taken care of.

I think that once the flows have been processed, they are "light"
enough to go up above the head... making a Sundisk !


*The ASC effect*

The ASC is Don's initials for "altered state(s) of conciousness."
Yeah, Kundalini will definitely do that to ya!  I've never done
acid, so I don't know if the experience equates to an "acid trip."
In my case, Kundalini has, without question, opened my "Third Eye."
Everything which I look at is infused with a fuzzy white light, and
all colors have almost a "neon" look to them... *very* vivid, with
any plantlife being the most vivid aspects of green.  I would say
that my "sight" has been the biggest boon for me personally.  To go
further with the ASC, I can sense *many* aspects of energy/energy
fields.  I've read about different "dimensions" and such, and from
a personal standpoint, I can say "YEAH BUDDY!!!!"   Just to name
a few of them,

        There's the obvious one of people's auras (no colors,
        only variations of white, or lack thereof)

        I sense people's emotional states by the "tone" of their
        "radiance"... every emotion has a "frequency."

        Mamma Earth radiates what I call the "Rise" which is a
        warm rising energy... by the way, Her heart beats every
        seven seconds (That's what I feel) 

        There is a possibly negative energy which I call the
        "Fall," which is quite nasty and I keep it pinned beneath
        my left heel (don't ask me why!) perhaps it's the legendary
        "Fall from grace?"  I avoid it at all costs, 'cause it
        *really* messes up my configuration

        Within the body, there are areas which jive with the
        sephiroths of the Kabalah... namely at the shoulders,
        hips, temples, and groin.  They "feel" like "plates"
        which I use to catch the "Rise."

        A healer named Barbara Brennan (?) names the "Hara" and
        "Core Star" levels and I found those... pretty neat! 

        There is a "ball" or "stone" which kinda jives with what
        Carlos Castenada  calls the Assemblage Point.
        The Nadi(?) flow from the center of the forehead *really*
        likes it!!!   It is *extremely* difficult to move!!!
        Another thing Carlos mentioned was these "strings" or
        tentacles of energy which come from the abdomen... found
        those too!  I keep them attached to my thumbs and big
        toes  to keep them from flapping around... 

I think that'll about cover it without getting into the religious
arenas!   So yes, there are most certainly "altered states"
available via Kundalini!  What I've found is that if you are aware
of an energy "level," you are affected by it and can affect it
yourself... as in manipulation.  I've tried to use this to help
people, and sometimes it works... I've noticed that a bunch of the
"physical" ailments people have are not really physical... they're
often due to energy imbalances which show up as headaches and cramps
and such.  Of course, I'm sure some of you already know that! 

At this point, the only difference I've noticed in helping/healing
people is that the material from the "flows" goes out to the person
along with the "good vibes," and has a tendency to come back to me
"tainted" by whatever they had.  Doing the ol' laying on hands routine
causes the "stuff" to flow out my hands, and when I've sent this "stuff"
out over long distances, it goes out from my "sundisk."

In case you couldn't tell, I feel much more Spirit than I do human!
It took a while to deal with, but I'm just peachy now.  With
Kundalini, the "feeling" never really goes away, like it does when
you come down from your "high" with drugs.  It's either a blessing
or a curse, and it ALL depends on your attitude and your point of
view!  If Kundalini "happens" to you, KEEP THAT IN MIND!!!

That's about all I can pass on without getting into really bizarre
mindsets and stuff, so I hope this has been "enlightening" for you.
Speaking of "enlightened," here's a demi-joke for you...
... If you radiate Light, does that make you enlightened?...
 

Okay!!!   I'll get on to the poems, if you can call them that!
Well, at least some of them rhyme!!    I wrote these as the
"Spirit" moved me to do so.  They are part of my "dream journal" of
what I've been going through for the last three (or so?) years of
these "Changes" Kundalini and other Stuff have wrought within "me."
Note that they are intentionally dramatic (some of them,) because
I figured if I ever get them published, I don't want to bore the
reader to death... I find metaphysical texts EXTREMELY boring!
So, ENJOY!  Or delete them from the end of the file!

Glory to you, FarTraveller

This immense Presence is always at hand

I know that the Gateway lies just east of Eden
