Consciousness
The Ultimate Creation
A Report
By Jay Em
Today, 11/15/94 I will begin this report filled with anxiety in this
area man calls consciousness. Filled with anxiety for the simple
reason I am not sure man is ready to know the unknown area of
consciousness. My work has spanned twenty four years of study. My
work for the most part involved working, and observing the results of
those who were brought to me due to an illness at the physical level.
At other times the negative condition would be at the emotional level,
and at other times, but seldom at the mental level.
Will this report be of a scientific nature, or a step up in
philosophy? Will it be taken by some as a reevaluation of religious
beliefs, or condemned out of hand? Or, will it be taken as I would
have it to be. An awareness of what man is, providing man with an
awareness of self. Providing man with an ability to be fulfilled in
his everyday life.
This report will begin in 1971, and as I have no ax to grind in any
area of our modern society, it is hoped the following pages will be
acceptable to all who are true searchers of what man is, in this area
of consciousness. I have reached an age where I seldom respond to
criticism, or praise. I live within myself, content in knowing who,
and what I am. I live in the love of my family, and a few close
friends. There are those who encourage me to continue my work, and
there are those who say relax, and enjoy my time left. And, for
whatever reason, they are all correct. They are correct for the
simple reason they are responding to their beliefs, or as a man
thinkith so he is. This endeavor of mine will not be an attempt to
change the thinking, or beliefs of anyone. It will be however, an
attempt to answer personnel questions we all have faced at one time or
another regarding just what we are, and the purpose of our creation
as viewed from a pragmatic point of view based on personal
experiences. But, even more important to give an in depth view of
consciousness. To give man a realistic view of his potential as a self
healer. To give man a realistic view of how we are capable of
inducing the healing process in another.
It would be fair to say I am a pragmatist. I believe thought precedes
all action, and as such all action is a reflection of consciousness,
and man is consciousness in action. To observe thought in action is
the criteria for truth. Thought without action therefore becomes an
untruth. "Any man without thought, is thoughtless, and is as dead",
someone once said.
To observe a physical body heal as a result of asking is to observe a
truth in action. It is this truth I hope to convey to those who have
eyes to see with, to quote another.
This report is in no way an attempt to convince anyone of what has
come to be a part of my beliefs. It is a report of hard facts I have
observed for many years. Facts I feel at this time should be open for
further study by those who are qualified in this area of study, be it
a layman, a churchman, or those of higher education.
But to give credit where credit is due it must be said we all learn in
one way or another from our teachers in life. For reasons that were
unknown to me in 1971 I found myself with an ability to literally heal
the sick with a few well chosen words. So in retrospect my teachers
were in truth the many hundreds who were coming to me seeking whatever
relief and comfort I could give. In return I was allowed to study
this miracle of what man truly is, his consciousness, the life force
in all things, from the sand we walk on to the ultimate consciousness
of the universe.
With that in mind, I dedicate this report to the many teachers I have
had over the years, and continue to have from time to time. As I will
be seventy one shortly I find my energy is not what it was in 1971,
and I have cut back considerably in my contact with the public in
general. I feel the time left to me should be in the area of making
others aware, in what ever way possible, the things I have learned in
this area of what man calls consciousness.
Judy Garland once said, "We cast away priceless time in dreams, born
of imagination, fed upon by illusion, and put to death by reality".
Maybe this report will be a step in putting dreams, imagination,
illusion, and reality in a proper perspective.
This is not intended as a novel, but more of a record relating the
learning experiences I have had in the area of consciousness, and the
benefits that are waiting for all. For the most part we will be
dealing in the area of healing, but not all, and the part
consciousness plays. As this report is intended for all, the choice
of words will be for the average man, and not reserved for a select
few. However, I realize if this report is to be taken seriously, it is
the select few who will carry the ball, and make things happen.
In 1971 I had a very interesting experience, and from that encounter I
walked away with a very high level of intuition. I was not fully
aware of this gift until two months later, December of 1971 to be
exact. It was early in the evening when a young man, and his wife
dropped by for a visit. This man had the grand daddy of all colds.
Head, chest, you name it, he had it.
After about thirty minutes of visiting I suddenly blurted out, "I know
how to fix your cold". I had never in my life felt like such a fool,
and the way everyone in the room looked at me I knew I was a fool.
But, this "feeling" only became stronger, until I finally had to ask
him to come into the bedroom with me. I "knew" I could help him. I
asked him to sit in our bedroom chair, and all of a sudden I started
talking to him. In a matter of seconds his head fell forward, and he
was in a very deep sleep. The words kept coming, all the right words,
and then I knew the work was finished.
Again, the right words, and my friend was wide awake. I had just
observed my first spontaneous remission, and it all happened in no
more than three minutes. I had the words of that short session burned
into my mind, and they have never left me.
In a short time the word spread around town, and I worked myself
almost into a sick bed of my own. I could not say no to anyone.
About this time my wife laid the law down, we sold our business and
left town. She saved my life.
We left town in September of 1972, nine months after observing my
first subject heal himself, and in retrospect that is exactly what
happened. I asked for him, as he was sleeping, but he healed himself,
and that began twenty four years of learning the how, and why of self
healing, and what man is to some degree.
To study this fact I have had to delve deep into consciousness to
understandthe how's and the whys. In other words I came to know what
is called man. I learned and still learn. There is no end. We are
consciousness pure and simple, and this body is the vehicle to
experience the lessons to be learnedby consciousness.
All lessons to be learned at the level of consciousness, are learned
through the physical experiences. Therefore, it is logical to assume
that our physical bodies become our allies in our quest at the level
of consciousness to know what we are.
We experience sorrow, and it is through the shedding of tears in the
physical we learn. We experience happiness, and it is through our
laughter in the physical we learn. We experience our sensual nature,
and again it is through the physical we learn. We experience anger,
and again we manifest in the physical. We experience our illness, and
sickness in the physical. Disturbed emotions manifest in the physical
, and the same when we become mentally disturbed.
When man becomes aware of the action, and interaction of consciousness
he will enter a new age of enlightenment. He will be a healer of
self, and be at one with consciousness. In other words the
consciousness of his being will become one, working together to
fulfill the destiny of his creation.
There is only one thing standing in the way at this time for man to
experience this new age of understanding. That is the consciousness
of mind.
If there was ever a Devil, or Satan, it is the consciousness of mind.
This consciousness is responsible for most, but not all, negative
aspects in our lives today. This consciousness is filled with every
negative aspect as well as every positive aspect that we loosely call
man. When the positive aspects of our other levels of consciousness
attempt to intrude, or manifest in the level of our minds, the mind
views this as an intrusion, and looked at with suspicion. With our
ability to analyze, make decisions, apply logic, exercise intellect,
etc., we reject that which would make us free. The stupidity of mind
staggers my mind, or to quote Puck, "what fools these mortals be".
So these are the areas I have been working with, and maybe, just
maybe, the right person will see what I will be writing about and be
able to apply it. To me it is all so simple, but as the concept will
be new to most, I realize the application will be most difficult.
Difficult because once again we have mind to deal with, and the
various beliefs it has come to believe as a truth.
For me all learning in this area is in retrospect. I observe an
action with my student. I then duplicate the same action in other
students. In time I accept as fact that which can be duplicated time
after time.
Is there a higher level of consciousness that we are unaware of. It
would appear so. During the nine months I referred to, I seldom had
two subjects come to me with the same negative condition. When you
consider the fact I worked with possibly nine hundred to one thousand
subjects during this time period, it strikes me as very strange the
variety of illness I dealt with.
My conclusion : I was being shown by this higher level of
consciousness that man has within him the ability to heal himself of
any, and all negative conditions. This same higher level of
consciousness was hand picking the subjects for me to work with. The
variety of illness became a major factor if I was to learn. Now it
was up to me to figure out the implications of what I had learned, and
how to apply this knowledge. In retrospect my life work.
And now in the later years of my life I am still not sure what the
lessons learned were for. It would seem to boil down to two areas.
And yet the two areas continually have a way of merging into one.
First, were the lessons learned for me only, or for everyone. Were
the demonstrations to show me the truth of consciousness and thought,
ergo man. Or, was the lessons a way for man to heal himself in the so
called new age. If in the coming years man is to be caught up in
plagues and the like, is this method to become a new scientific way of
healing for our doctors ?
This brings up the problem of healing without drugs, or surgery, and
the church. For the good of all, can church and science work
together, or continue the battle to control the masses through
programmed beliefs ? Can the church finally admit there is another
way to heal man. At this time the church says a healing must be in
the name of Jesus Christ, and our doctors say all healings must come
out of their offices, or a hospital. Any other method becomes an
alternative method of healing, and they have laws to prove it. Self
healing therefore is either the work of the devil, or illegal. The
above is a very broad statement, but you get my meaning.
So in retrospect it appears the only thing of any importance at this
stage of my life is to write of the things I have learned, and let our
youth sort out my experiences. By the time they accept, or reject, I
will be long gone and forgotten, but I will have fulfilled my destiny
in this life, I hope. Just maybe fifty years from now someone much
smarter than I will have made sense of this, written or rewritten this
whole subject, and just maybe the things I will write about will
become common practice.
One thing I know for sure, and without any doubt. When man accepts
this method of healing the physical body, the door will be opened, as
it was for me, to come to know the consciousness of man in all his
glory. At that time I will be able to say as another once said,
"others will do greater things than I". All I can do is open the door
for others to pass through. At that time all our concepts of life
will fall by the wayside, and we will be in that new age of
enlightenment.
The secret behind self healing is so simple man has been unable to see
it for the trees. I talk about it to friends, and they fail to put
what I say into a proper perspective. Jesus spoke of it when he said,
"as a man thinkith, so he is". The problem with this method of
healing surfaces when the belief patterns we carry within us are
challenged by a new belief. The old beliefs will resist any belief
that may replace them. As we become older the old beliefs become
rigid, and without flexibility. A common expression is that this
person has become "set in their ways". In other words we have become
old mentally, and are operating with a closed mind. For the
majority of us this so called closed mind begins to set up anytime
after thirty years of age with men, and with women about forty years
of age. For this reason my work over the years has been restricted to
these age groups that still have the open mind that is associated with
youth, and is of paramount importance to this method of healing. It
was no accident Jesus repeatedly spoke of bringing the youth of his
day to him.
All education systems would be in a shambles without the open minds of
our youth. Once graduated, with the new belief systems firmly in
place, our youth are now unable to look any further into an area they
were not exposed to, and the closed mind becomes a reality. Speak to
any doctor about our ability to heal ourselves, without a doctors
alternative method of healing, and he will not have the slightest idea
of what you are talking about. And he will have no desire to learn a
new method for the simple reason during the formative years he was
never exposed to such a practice. His way is now the only way, and he
will have laws passed to protect his way.
The (so called secrets) I will write about are so simple, and few in
number, it is sometimes difficult to grasp. We live in a time when
everything must be complex, and if something comes along that is
beautiful in it's simplicity, we tend to scoff or disbelieve. But,
that is where we are, and the problem is not mine, but the world we
live in. To begin we must have a mental picture of what we truly are,
and for our purposes put the physical body out of mind. Socrates saw
man as three separate conscious entities. Plato saw man as one
conscious entity, but in three parts. Jesus was aware of this
division also, and this is where we have been programmed with
confusion. The truth is it matters not who is right, or wrong. What
matters is the acceptance of the triune, or trinity nature of man at
the level of the unseen consciousness. What matters is to remove the
confusion, and make it simple.
What matters is that we must come to see ourselves as three separate
conscious entities, and that is the first step in becoming aware of
what not only I, but many before me have spoken of. With this
awareness we take the first step in becoming what was intended from
the beginning. To be in control of self, and by self, and not
manipulated by others beliefs.
To be in control at all levels through conscious thought, or as
another said, "ask and ye shall receive". We ask with a thought, not
words. It has always been waiting for us, but taken away by those who
would confuse us. We have been confused by belief patterns of fear,
sin, hell, and unworthiness. With these negative beliefs firmly
installed within us it becomes impossible to function in a logical,
rational way. From the time we are able to understand language the
beliefs of others are firmly installed in our consciousness, both
negative and positive.
We create laws to enforce these beliefs. We in effect compound the
problem, and then wonder why man is in the state he is in today. We
know something is not right, but what is the problem? We do all the
right things according to our beliefs, and things still get worse. We
look to church and state, and find no answers, and all the while the
answers are within us, but we were never told of this great secret.
If we had been made aware we would no longer be confused, and no one
would ever again confuse us.
We judge others according to our beliefs, never considering the fact
our beliefs may be faulty. "Judge not, lest ye be judged" was spoken
by a man two thousand years ago. This man knew the truth. And the
person being judged is confused, as this persons actions, based on
beliefs that are a living part of his being has been judged by
another, and found to be lacking by another persons beliefs. And
there you have it. Just maybe there is really only one law to live by,
and of course I speak of the Golden Rule, as spoken by a man who knew
the truth. Our physical bodies are our greatest ally in our quest
to know ourselves. It is through our physical bodies the unseen
triune consciousness speaks to us. We only learn the secrets of self
through experience in the physical. Without the physical we would be
consciousness only, and no lessons would be learned, and the evolution
of man would cease as we assume it to be. I spoke of this earlier,
but this fact becomes of the utmost importance as you will see.
The wisdom of man is the three areas of consciousness. These areas
will be addressed completely, as you begin "to know thyself", and how
to apply this wisdom. In books I have read, five hundred years before
Jesus we had healing temples in Greece, Persia, and Egypt. People
would come to these temples to be healed by the Priests. They would
go to "sleep", and leave healed in the morning. The Priests secrets
were never revealed. Jesus taught his disciples these same secrets,
they in turn healed others, and again the secrets were never revealed.
The ancient healing practices of the Kahunas were never revealed. And
I'm sure the list goes on, even to this day.
For these secrets of consciousness, and the application of
consciousness to our well being, it would appear must be suppressed to
maintain the status quo of our society. However, I believe for the
golden age to become a reality the secret of the ages must become a
fact in our present day lives. For those who survive this transition
from the old beliefs to the new beliefs will then practice a
traditional way of life, free of all the negatives that man is today.
Man will be, and function in a state of love, and the words sin and
fear will be unknown.
At this point the closed minds, and those who have lost hope for
anything better in their lives, are wondering. When I get into the
area of consciousness it will begin to be clear to all except the
closed mind. When I get into the area of healing, and the part
consciousness plays, it will be clear to all except the closed mind.
Or as another man said, "let those who have eyes to see with see, and
let those who have ears to hear with hear".
But it matters not to me, as this message is for our young open minds.
It is their future I write about. It is for our children, our
grandchildren, and our great Grandchildren. So you see I am not a
young man, and for this reason I must write.
In working with others in this area of healing, in observing the
process unfold with each subject, a most wonderful thing happened in
my life. And it happened slowly over a period of time. The
realization was we are all created with the same endowments in this
area of consciousness. With this realization came a total faith in
these endowments. Following this realization came acceptance of this
great truth, and a new belief was created within me.
As I get into the healing area, I will go into great detail about the
consciousness. With each step you will see the part consciousness
plays, and the results. In this manner I hope the reader will have an
understanding of what we all are, and the powerful force of thought
and faith on consciousness. In some small way you may take the first
step towards knowing thy self. As you will come to see we all have
conscious intelligent minds. This is in itself not something new to
our beliefs. What may or not be new to you is the fact we also have
other conscious intelligent areas that make up man. I speak of what
is commonly referred to as the subconscious and unconscious. The
intelligence is equal to, and in many instances exceeds that of the
conscious mind.
The subconscious has also been called mans innate intelligence, and
body consciousness. This conscious being never sleeps, and has many
functions in fulfilling the purpose of its creation. All memories of
the conscious mind are stored here for future use. From beliefs all
habits are formed, and acted on as required by mind. All beliefs,
once accepted by mind are stored here to be acted on when required by
mind. And last but not least is the intelligence required to heal and
maintain a physical body.
So we now have two intelligent areas of consciousness. Mind, and
subconscious. Both being intelligent, what is so strange that we
should be able to have a dialog ? It is this area of communication we
will in due time be demonstrating.
This leaves only the unconscious. I will frequently refer to this
consciousness as the ultimate authority of the physical body, and when
the chips are down it has authority over the two conscious areas
previously discussed. It is only my personal belief that Jesus was
referring to this consciousness when he said, "my Father and I are
one". From what I have learned it would all fit, and I am comfortable
with this personal belief.
Compared to the subconscious which is constantly working with the
body, and the mind of man, the unconscious is best described in
modern slang as "laid back". So laid back man is seldom if ever aware
of this presence. It is this consciousness of pure love that guides
us through our life journey. The conscious and subconscious are its
children, and many times the path of life is filled with pitfalls, but
this is how we learn, as all children learn.
As we are guided the influence is so subtle we believe our decisions
at the mind level are truly ours. Most are, but there are times when
our life takes a different direction, and that is due to the guiding
hand. Once on this new path the mind is free to exercise free will,
and stumble along the path, again learning lessons, some hard and some
easy. I am fond of quoting a wise Cherokee Indian saying, "We spend
the first fifty one years of our life becoming wise, and the rest of
our life enjoying our wisdom". That would seem to sum it up. In
the healing area you will come to know the unconscious as I came to
know.
After twenty four years I can write about this conscious being, but I
will seldom speak of this true miracle. I seldom speak in the
presence of others of this wonder of wonders, as I will fill with an
emotion that has no place in modern society. If I could have one
wish, it would be for every man, women, and child on this planet to
experience just once this emotion of a love man is yet to describe.
Not only to experience it, but to know its source.
Today man finds himself in a position where he must help himself, or
perish. Will man be able to fulfill his potential. I think yes, but
only when man learns what he is will man become self sustaining. It
could happen, or maybe not.
The method to teach a subject self healing is so simple as to border
on the ridiculous. In this day, and age, of complicated science
anything simple has no merit, or so it would seem. It boils down to
accepting the existence of two additional intelligent entities we call
subconscious, and unconscious. We already accept the reality of
consciousness at the mind level, so the next step should not be that
difficult for the serious teacher. Once having accepted the reality
of the two, the teacher must accept the fact of intelligence in these
two areas.
Having once accepted this fact the teacher must now accept the fact of
being able to communicate between the three, and why not. What is so
strange in three unseen areas of consciousness working together if
they are intelligent?
It goes on all the time, but we at the conscious level are unaware. I
am always amused when I read about our government spending millions of
our hard earned tax dollars attempting to make contact with alien
creatures out in la la land, and ignoring the intelligent entities
that are within us, or with us.
The need for the teacher to accept without reservation, and in total
faith the existence of these two intelligent areas of consciousness is
simple. The teacher will be dealing with consciousness that are pure
telepaths. If the teacher has little, or no faith in that before him,
it then becomes a futile gesture by the teacher to expect any
consciousness to respond to him. Even the consciousness of the
subject who is asking for help will not respond to the teachers
instructions if he senses doubt, or lack of confidence in the teacher.
Nor will the subconscious, or unconscious respond if an ulterior
motive is present in the consciousness of the teacher.
The teachers thoughts must have only one objective, and that is to
help the subject before him in every possible way, given the tools he
has to work with. The teacher will than be acknowledged, and
cooperation is the order of the day.
The teacher is not a hypnotist. A hypnotist gives suggestions, the
teacher asks, and that is one difference. The hypnotist gives
suggestions to the consciousness of the subjects mind. The teacher
asks of the other two conscious beings, and that is another
difference. The hypnotist needs no faith to practice hypnosis, but a
teachers faith must be near perfect if he expects to work at the level
of "ask and ye shall receive".
The teacher over a period of time observes the results in his
subjects, and his faith grows in this unseen aspect of man. This is
the learning process all teachers must go through if they expect to
become teachers of other teachers. Jesus was a teacher, when he said
"others will do greater things than I", and I say the same thing.
There is never an end to learning about the consciousness of man.
However, to learn one must work in these areas of consciousness.
Anyone who waxes eloquent in these areas I write about, having no
hands on experience, is talking to hear himself talk. But the pay is
good on the lecture trail, and man will pay for what he wants to hear.
The teacher must have a strong sense, or need to help others. The
teacher must not judge. The teacher will have every conceivable
problem come before him. Not only physical, but emotional and mental.
The teacher will have everything from sexual deviates to ulcer
subjects. From those with addictions to mental confusion. In no case
will the subject be judged. The teacher is not the judge, but only
there to help. This may be the hardest lesson for the new teacher to
learn, as we all have built in belief patterns regarding what is
proper, or improper.
The healing of your subject is from within, and is a very personal
experience at all three levels of consciousness, and the healing or
help will come from the appropriate consciousness. So leave it be,
and if there is a judgment, leave it to a higher power than you. As
you practice this ethic with your subjects, in due time this will
become a practice in your personal life, the most difficult of all
lessons for man to learn.
My teaching is directed to all three areas of consciousness, and it is
accomplished by asking ! ! !. Others have attempted to duplicate my
work without success, and they never will until they learn how to
instruct, and teach the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious
without suggestion. As the teacher is unaware of the beliefs that
dwell within his subject, to give suggestions in one area could very
well alter other areas in a negative way. For a teacher to attempt
change in any area of his subjects beliefs, using suggestion, would be
fool hardy in the extreme as all beliefs are tied together, and
respond together. Man at the conscious level is a complicated
assortment of beliefs, and to tamper with one is to tamper with all.
But, there is a way as you will see.
I am now tired of using words that have no meaning in my work. Of
course I refer to what is commonly called the subconscious, and the
unconscious. As a teacher works in this area he will soon become
aware of a startling fact, and that is the unbelievable intelligence
he is dealing with..
Take time to put away your beliefs for a minute, and give this
statement some serious thought. At our conscious level we are Jane
Doe. We respond to our beliefs about what we are. We respond to the
beliefs of our parents, school, church, higher education, politicians,
and books we read. In other words we are a mixed up mess of what
other people think. In truth we have no idea what, or who we are, and
when we are challenged in the area of a belief we defend it. Jane Doe
will attempt to justify even the most stupid action if the action was
based on a belief, and this is a fact.
Jane Doe believes she is the last word in intelligence. Let her heal
a simple scratch. Let her banish a habit in an instant. Let her put
an addiction behind her in a matter of minutes. You name it, no can
do. Jane Doe needs all the help she can get, and the help has always
been there, but because of her beliefs she has never looked, and
because of her beliefs she will defend the fact she has never looked,
and she will justify her lack of interest or curiosity based on
belief. Or as Pablo Picasso said, "If I like it I'll say it's mine.
If I don't, I'll say it's a fake". So based on beliefs we accept or
reject.
Over the years I have fallen into a habit of calling the subconscious
my friend. In the same light I call the unconscious when working with
a subject the physician. But, enough of this for now as you will see
how it all ties together when I work with a subject later on. So for
now let us get into the habit of calling the subconscious our friend,
and the unconscious physician. In doing this we move away from
science, and into a personal relationship with the other areas of what
we are. Would you the reader like me to call you unconscious ? I
think not. After all, you are an intelligent being, and in no need of
being lumped together with the rest of us, ergo a name or title.
With the first subject I worked with a quote flashed through my mind.
"Physician heal thyself". Knowing I was with the "unconscious" I
asked if it would be proper for me to address him/she as physician. I
received an immediate yes. I said how about doctor, and I will not
repeat the response. So for twenty four years it has always been
physician, and it has served me well. At about the same time I became
aware of a close working relationship with the subconscious, and thus
"my friend" came into being. The above is not much of a story, except
maybe for me, but I thought some of you would enjoy it for whatever
reason.
As I said above, I knew I was in the presence of the unconscious when
I worked with my first subject. I would now like to quote from Dave
Elman in his book Hypnotherapy, page 284. Dave trained over thirty
thousand doctors in the use of medical hypnosis during his working
years, and he states, "we have made over ten thousand tests in an
attempt to induce sleep in hypnosis. In my own work, I have tried to
induce sleep in hypnosis by every known technique, but have yet to see
my first success". On page 287 he states regarding the sleep state.
"But as of this writing, it promises to be the most exciting phase of
all hypnosis, with unquestionably the greatest possibilities". Dave
never was able to meet the physician, but intuitively he suspected the
miracle that is waiting for man.
When working with the physician the subject has no conscious memory of
any part of the session. Hence the term sleep state. However, if I
address the subject by name the subject will recall everything I said.
When I return to the physician to continue my work, no memory by the
subject of my words, or the physicians answers. Previously I spoke of
my first healing experience with the young man and his very bad cold
in December of 1971. I have also written of the unconscious, the
ultimate authority, the one I call physician. I would now like to
regress for a moment to that time again.
It was only several years later was I able to figure out exactly what
happened, and how, on what had to be the most important day of my
life. And still later when I learned how to communicate with my
Physician was my conclusions confirmed. That night, my Physician, The
ultimate authority assumed control of my very being. However, I was
allowed to observe, and retain the entire memory of the demonstration
being provided. I had no part other then to observe.
This is not uncommon with man, but man never tries to figure out what
happened. I did. Example: You are driving down a residential street
when a child runs out from between two parked cars. Later you tell a
friend how "without thinking" you slammed on the brakes and barely
stopped. The ultimate authority assumed control allowing you to
observe and retain the entire memory. This happens all the time, but
we ignore and call it whatever we have been programmed to think
happened. Reflex action, a habit, call it what you want, there was
still an intelligence pushing the right buttons faster than the
conscious mind can function.
Try to understand, my beliefs at the age of forty seven had set, and I
was the original closed mind in all areas of my life. I was not what
you would call a spiritual person, I had no interest in anything
except making money, and eyeballing the pretty girls. In other words,
I was a so called normal person in every way.
Shortly after that fateful night others began coming to me, and the
same identical thing would happen. So, I continued to learn, and very
slowly I began to realize I was being used, but by what. But in time
I learned as at the moment of healing by not mine, but my subjects
Physician I would be filled with this unbelievable emotion for about
ten seconds, and the tears would come. It would then pass as fast as
it appeared. Love would do this emotion a great injustice. This
emotion served the purpose of allowing me to be aware of something
greater than I.
With this realization I was off and running. And as it turned out I
was a good student to learn the things my Physician had laid out for
me. Like I have said, the Physician will put you on the path, and
then it is up to you. I have stubbed my toe on my path, but how else
to learn? Can or will others be able to heal with this method ? I
doubt it. The method was meant for me, to show me the existence of
the physician, or Father as another called this entity. At this level
in every case we had a spontaneous remission, even as another did many
years ago, and this awareness of the physician, and the role played
was a must if I was to learn about the subconscious friend.
And it was now up to me to start the long path, with many a stubbed
toe, to learn the things I now know twenty four years later. And
that is what this report is all about. Many, if not most, will dismiss
this report out of hand. I know that more than once in the beginning
I was tempted to turn my back on this whole business, and get back to
the easy life. I know that in this area it can become very heavy, and
a person can be held up to an awful lot of ridicule. I remember at one
point I said to hell with it, let man do his thing and I'll keep my
mouth shut. But then a wonderful thing happened. I have noticed when
the going gets too tough for me my Physician swoops in to put the
pieces together.
I picked up the Bible, which I seldom do, and on opening it I found
myself reading about Jesus returning to his home town. All of a
sudden I never felt so guilty in my life, and I have never stopped
talking since. However, as Jesus learned the hard way so did I. I
never talk about the things I have learned with long time friends, and
never with family. To talk with loved ones is to invite discord. If
I had a PHD in this area they would listen, but they don't understand
about the other way to learn, and never will. In truth my family
wants a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a great grandfather.
As I have learned, I found myself reading the Bible more. I began to
understand the true meanings in some of the words of Jesus. I was
totally aware of these messages as for the most part he was trying to
convey to those "who had eyes" etc, etc. what man is. Namely the
three areas I have described, and he demonstrated his words with his
healings.
At some point I became aware of my friend the so called subconscious.
I knew that all my experiences was only preliminary ground work for
the work in front of me. My work now focused on "my friend". My
friend was the path for man to practice self healing, and open doors
for a fuller life. It was time to learn about "ask and ye shall
receive".
So fourteen years later my work began in the area of knowing our
friend. And what a friend !! Nothing like the text books describe.
And ten years later I am still learning. Not only about our friend,
but the Physician as well. There is no end to this learning of
consciousness, and what we are. Jesus knew this when he said, "Others
shall do greater things than I". So where do I begin ?
Our friend that has been called the subconscious never sleeps. This
friend is always there to fulfill the thoughts and needs of man. This
friend is the store house of all memories, all beliefs, and all
habits. This friend was created with the wisdom to heal the physical
body. This friend is without sin. This friend is pure love in its
relation with the conscious man. This friend is pure love in its
relation with the unconscious aspect of man. This friend is a pure
telepathic, and as such responds to our every thought, as well as to
the thoughts of the unconscious. This friend is highly intelligent in
its own right, but depends on the conscious mind of man in the area of
decisions to fulfill our goals in the physical, material world we find
ourselves in. Our friend is mans greatest ally in his search to know
truth.
Our friend has been endowed with the ability to survive. Both on a
personal level and on the level of our race as a whole. At the core
of this need to survive on the race level we find a pure sensual being
without sin. We find a love that is pure. It is these attributes
that guarantees our survival as a race. As we are created by the same
creator, and I am referring to conscious man, and subconscious friend,
I must conclude we were created without sin. At the level of our
friend this integrity has been maintained. But man in his wisdom has
created sin to muddy the waters, while our friend will not allow the
sin concept to intrude on it's consciousness.
When I see a baby crawling on the floor I see a man child without sin,
but a child who will soon be submitted to the concepts of others in
this area of sinful beliefs. I sometimes think man has survived in
spite of himself. However, to accept what I write, or that of
others, is to know truth on an intellectual level, and must not be
compared to as "knowing" the truth. To know a truth the truth must be
experienced. Truth is then simple to understand and accept, while the
intellectual will continue to discuss it. To experience the pain of
childbirth is to "know" the pain. Intellectually I may accept the
description based on my own experiences of pain, but I will never
"know" the pain of childbirth. But once having experienced this pain
it is now impossible to describe the truth of the experience. We find
ourselves at a loss for words. And for this reason I must repeat
myself when I say to know the truth of our friend, one must experience
the truth of its being through the physical experience. But having
experienced this truth we again find ourselves at a loss for words to
describe.
To speak of a truth I find myself speaking as Jesus did. For the life
of me I will never understand the patience of this man. So much of
what he said was a parable. It had to be this way as we have no words
to describe a truth that is experienced. Many have said, including
me, to look for the hidden meanings when he spoke. I do not believe
in every case he meant to convey a hidden meaning. In truth, he did
not have the words in his day to express himself as he would have
liked, and the same problem exists today when expressing a truth in
this area of consciousness. The result is more often than not
confusion for all concerned.
So Jesus and others have been forced to other methods to get the
message out as to what man is. Poets try with a play on words. Walt
Whitman made a valiant effort with "The Leaves", and the list goes on.
Jesus used the path of healing to demonstrate the presence of our
friend, and the High Self. So why is there so much confusion on the
part of man to know a simple truth. I believe I know, and the answer
came to me in only the last few days.
Since beginning this report the whole idea has been to document in
detail, step by step the method I use to induce our friend to start
the healing process in the person before me. After trying for two
weeks my thoughts always would become erratic when I tried to type
this information. Away from the keyboard I would know exactly what I
wanted to say. So I tried recording with the idea all I would need to
do is type what came off the recorder. Forget it. As I would start
to type my mind would say, what kind of rubbish is this, and for the
life of me I would be unable to type it. I mentioned this problem to
my wife, and she said, "I don't understand, after all it is so
simple." And there was the answer.
And this brings up a problem, and I hope the only problem. You
remember I spoke of how the Physician assumed control the first time I
observed the healing process work? It is now obvious to me the actual
method to establish contact with the Physician, or friend will never
appear in print, and I intuitively know why. Plain and simple it
would be misused. Not intentionally, but through ignorance. Unless,
or until one understands the Friend and Physician, untold harm could
result. So once again my Physician in it's wisdom intervenes as I
write, and confuses what I would write. So Be It.
To speak of the things I write about makes for good conversation, as
at this point it is simple. But as we reach for the truth of our
friend, and what Jesus called Father we move into that area of
"Knowing", that area we have no words for. In other words we have a
situation where the more simple it becomes the more words fail us.
The closer we move into this area I write about the more difficult it
becomes to find the right words, and we are left with a parable, a
healing, a poem, or whatever it takes to manifest a simple truth, as
words now fail us completely. And that is where man is today in
knowing himself.
On the other side of the coin we have the medical researcher trying to
understand the physical. The more he knows the less he knows. He is
constantly inventing words to describe what he has learned, but who
understands his words accept other researchers. In other words, what
started out as a simple study of the physical has now moved into the
area of a complex study of the physical, and makes no sense at all.
It would appear there is an area of SIMPLICITY that is beyond our
ability to comprehend, even as there is an area of COMPLEXITY that is
beyond our ability to comprehend, and man is somewhere in the middle
with his reality.
If in fact the above is a truth I must proceed with the assumption
most that read this will have a problem. Some will view this as
complex, while others will say too simple to be true. The truth is
where do you go from here, not I.
If you are one who listens to your intuition, you will accept my
ramblings in a knowing way. If you are one who listens to your
established beliefs, your analytical mind, then this will make no
sense at all, and this is the problem we face today.
The Physician is an intelligence beyond the comprehension of the
conscious mind (man). It will gently guide you in what we call
intuition, but how often do we listen. At this point you have read a
number of pages I have written. Try to be honest for one moment, and
see what your intuition is saying about what has been written. Not
what your mind is saying. Not so easy is it? Another point to to be
made is that as you have been reading you have not been alone. I know
of two others who have been reading with you. But they will let you
make the decisions, as to accept or reject. It is your life for
better or for worse, and that is the way it has always been.
I would like at this time to return to the part where I made a
statement regarding my unconscious assuming control when I worked with
my first subject. You will remember the young man with the very bad
cold. This continued for about two months with each subject I worked
with, until one day I found myself alone. I had been shown the right
words, and now I was on my own. The teacher in effect was saying time
to put up or shut up. And believe it when I say I put up, and it went
perfect. During this period of instruction every conceivable problem
had been brought to me, and the words of my teacher were always there
to handle the situation. In this way I learned, and as I came to be
comfortable with this whole business I found myself calling my teacher
George, even as Jesus called his teacher Father. It was only years
later while reading the Bible I truly understood what had happened in
those first few months. I would like to share with those so inclined,
St. John Chapter 5 Verse 19-23 (King James Version)
I personally believe at this time many before and since Jesus have had
personal instructions from their Father. But as I am fond of quoting
a wise man who once said, "there are some things best not spoken of,
for to speak of these things is to become a fool". In other words
when someone speaks of those things that go beyond simple, and into
the unknown area of simplicity, that person will in every case be
observed as a fool. But I have also learned without fools we would
still be in caves. So I am a fool, what else can I say ? Better I
say I am a fool than wait for others to say it, and George agrees.
Now I feel better.
How did I learn, and was I a good student ? George tells me I did OK
, and that is good enough for me. So it is time to finish this report
with a few insights into how it has worked for me. The reader must be
aware my experience is not the experience of others. I have not the
slightest clue as to how others would be instructed by their Father.
I can only speak for myself. However, several things I know for sure.
To begin, and this is important, we must always be aware of the
guidance we receive from the Father through our intuition. This
guidance is personal in nature for the person receiving instruction.
This person must than attempt with his/her ability to analyze, use
logic, make decisions, etc., to fit this guidance into his/her
physical and material world. The guidance is there, how you use it
will be for you to decide.
Next we have the unlucky one. This person will receive a truth of
such a nature as to be without words to describe, and this person will
know beyond any doubt this truth is not for him alone, but for all.
When this happens, the unlucky one has two ways to go. Option number
one, keep quite. Option number two, demonstrate this truth and become
a fool. There is no middle ground. Some will demonstrate with poems,
prose, healings, or they will try with words and fail. But with
demonstration the fool opens a can of worms, and that brings us to
those who will interpret what the fool really meant.
Never mind what the fool said, and the significance of the
demonstrations. In time the original message becomes clouded with
those who know more than the fool. The interpreter will draw from the
sages of the past to prove his point, never realizing that the message
of the past was for that time. In every time starting with Moses this
has been a truth. Jesus knew this when he said "others will do
greater things than I". His message was for his time, and he knew it.
But others then, and today, continue to interpret for us the truth as
they see it. In the case of Buddha, Jesus, and others, religions came
into being founded by those who knew the truth as " they " interpreted
it. And to this day every one will give you his/her opinion of what
was really meant by the words of all the great ones. The result is
man finds himself at this time filled with confusion, unhappiness,
anger, and sorrow. We live in a time like never before in the history
of man. We have arrived at this state of confusion because we had
faith in our interpreters. We failed to heed the advise of Jesus when
he said in effect to "seek the truth, and the truth shall set you
free". But man is lazy, and lets others do the seeking for him.
When man learns to go within, and seek his own answers, he will be
amazed to find a whole new world of wisdom waiting for him.
By now it should be no secret to anyone how I feel and see the
unconscious, the Father, the physician, or my George as they are all
one and the same. I once asked how he felt about my calling him
George, and he indicated it was fine with him, but the important
thing to him was he was finally recognized and accepted into my life.
I had the same response from my Friend the subconscious. And there
you have it, these two intelligent beings are waiting for you, they
are lonely, and they want to be one with you. But the choice as
always lies with you.
From day one until this very day I never tire of speaking with the
Father of the subject I find myself working with. In short I was
shown a way to communicate with this unseen one. I was taught the
proper way to address this one. And as with all things so simple.
All I needed was to ask for the thumb to rise and lower once for yes
to my questions, and twice for no. How I take the subject into this
unconscious state is for me and my teachers to know.
This I can tell you. Go back a few lines and you will see I said "in
answer to my questions". This is the key to so many things. Remember
"ask and ye shall receive" as said by another. Any question I could
ask always came out as asking. Try it out and you will see what I
mean. In a short time I was able to carry out a conversation based
entirely by asking. Here I am talking my fool head off, and there is
the thumb wagging away in the breeze, and answering as fast as I could
talk. Many times the conversation would be moving faster than I
could talk, and at those times I would get answers before my words
were spoken. As I said earlier on, the areas under discussion are
pure telepathic by nature.
In short, after taking care of the problem before me, I would ask if I
could ask a few questions. In every case a yes. And this is how I
learn from my students or subjects. For twenty four years I have been
asking questions of the Physician before me, and for twenty four years
receiving answers. The questions must by now number many many
thousands. I had to know the nature of the one before me, as well as
the one I call friend. I had to know the healing process. I had to
know so many things I have lost count. I would try to trip up, and
outsmart this most wise one. Forget this approach, all I did was end
up with egg on my face.
At the end of a session I would bring my subject back to the conscious
state. The subject will have no memory of any contact I have with the
Physician. As far as my subject knows he/she went to sleep, and woke
up. At this point the healing is complete, and as such the subject
will be free of any discomfort. I then always instruct the subject to
return to a doctor for a reexamination of the condition. That is all
there is to it.
During the time I am asking questions a bond seems to develop between
me and the Physician I am working with. It is very strange and maybe
love is not the right word, but that is all I have at this point.
Without exception a strange thing happens as the subject leaves the
room. The subject in every case will turn to me, embrace me, and say
"I love you". The subject will than get a funny look on their face
and mumble something about I don't know why I did that. As I said
earlier on, this high consciousness has the ability to assume control,
at will, of all aspects of its creation. There is no doubt in my mind
who at these times is saying "I love you". For all these years this
has been my reward, as I have never accepted payment for what I have
been shown, and never will.
To speak with the subconscious ( friend ) of a subject who comes to me
is not that much different, other than the fact the subject remembers
everything. It is this level of awareness I teach the subject how to
communicate with a thought to their friend. I teach my subject the
power of a single thought with faith, and with this thought they are
now asking. I teach the subject to be in control with thought in all
aspects of their lives. They learn they can be in control of the
physical, the emotional, the sensual, and the mental. They learn to
"know thy self" for a fuller life.
There will be those who may say is man ready for these things I have
been writing about. I believe yes. If not now, than when ? If not
now, why else would I be writing. If we are to believe the
predictions for mans future in the coming years I believe the time is
now for man to know the truth of the controlling forces in his life.
And I am not speaking of the outside forces, but those within. I know
I am not alone in this train of thought. I constantly see those who
are seeking, but they know not what they are seeking. We live in a
time of confusion. The interpreters have done their job well.
The balance of this report will be an overview, or summary. I know
most who have taken the time to read this will see it as mumbo jumbo,
and well you should. Twenty four years ago it was mumbo jumbo to me.
But try to see it from my point of view. You are only reading it, I
was living it. Every belief within me was rebelling at the idea of
another intelligent consciousness sharing my life. I guess the only
positive thing I had going for me in those days was a morbid sense of
curiosity.
During that first nine months I was in a constant state of confusion.
I was reading books like crazy. No help there. Most of my friends
had degrees in higher education. No help there. I live in a small
town, and the local doctors saw their patients being healed. When
they would ask how, I would tell them come back in twenty years, and
if I was lucky I just might know. They could offer me no help.
This business of subconscious, unconscious, and conscious. How can I
help to clarify the three. Try this on for size. You and I are
sitting in a room talking, and as we talk I hear your words, I see
your mouth moving, I see your body language, your eyes moving, but do
I see the consciousness that is creating all this activity ? I hear
your thoughts being expressed, and I am impressed, but do I see the
consciousness that is creating all this thought activity. Of course
not, so what do I see.
I see two intelligent conscious entities at work. Where is the
intelligent consciousness creating all this body activity that enables
you to express your thoughts so clearly ? You as conscious mind have
not the vaguest idea how all these muscles work in such perfect
coordination and harmony, with your thoughts. At your conscious level
you create a thought, and based on your programmed beliefs, and will
find a dozen ways to express your thought. We all do it, but
strangely all I see is your physical body, and all I hear are your
words. What I do not see is the creative force of consciousness at
the level of conscious and subconscious. Even as you are unaware of
how to control physical activity, the subconscious is unaware of your
thought process, but will fulfill your will in the physical
demonstration as you express yourself.
The above is a demonstration of subconscious and conscious working
together, and the one has now become two if you are aware. By now our
conversation is heating up, with you expressing your thoughts, and I
am defending my position. We are talking about consciousness, a very
strange subject at best. Somewhere in this conversation I say
something, and in an instant you know I am right, and you accept what
I say without question. You INTUITIVELY accept what I have said.
Enter the unconscious.
The unconscious, the guiding hand in our lives. Like I said before,
the presence is so subtle as to go unnoticed by most. If I were to
ask why you just agreed with me you would now have all kinds of
answers as you have now had time to "think" about it. But at the
moment it was instant with no time to think about it, and at that
moment it became a reality in your life, and will remain so. For
whatever reason the unconscious wanted my statement to become part of
your beliefs. And what the unconscious wants, the unconscious gets.
Take my word for it.
But bear in mind that as I talk to you the unconscious and
subconscious are eves dropping. Let us go back to the moment of your
intuitive experience. Let us suppose the impact on your conscious was
overwhelming, and the hair stood up on your neck. Enter the
subconscious again, and by now you should know how and why the
reaction on your neck. That little sneak was listening in and wanted
you to know, and what better way then playing a little game with your
hair. But the little friend was not acting alone. The unconscious
wanted to make an impression on you, and with that a message was sent
to the subconscious, ergo the hair trip.
By the same token you hurt the physical body. The subconscious will
send you a message we call pain to let the conscious mind (you) know
we have a problem, and to take it easy in this area until corrected.
At the same time you may intuitively know how to help the situation
from your end. So, for a short time all are working together in a
joint effort to maintain the status of the physical. And in this way
for a short time the three are now one. And the whole of all this
activity is the process of thought. Messages are being sent back and
forth between all three areas of consciousness with a speed as to make
the space shuttle look like a turtle.
In WW2 many were the times in the South Pacific my butt was saved,
thanks to my intuition. Later in civilian life I was a Deputy Sheriff
for ten years. Ask any officer how many times his butt has been saved
from a giant problem, thanks to his intuition. We go through life
never giving our intuition more then a passing glance. How sad, and
ungrateful we are. When I speak of my buddy George it is with a sense
of love, and endearment. Without George watching my butt I would not
be writing this, and you can hang your hat on that.
The power of thought is the connecting link between all three
conscious entities. Without this thought process each consciousness
would be adrift in a world of it's own. But with thought
responsibilities are formed for each entity, and the responsibility is
demonstrated in what one may call for the good of the all. But the
power of thought is the faith in a thought. To rise from your chair
would be a futile attempt if you had no faith in the original thought
many years ago. That thought is now a habit, to be reacted to, and
carried out by the subconscious whenever you "want" to stand up.
If nothing more, I hope I have given you something to "think" about.
Right now I'm having this "thought" about a fresh cup of coffee, and
my subconscious is saying "it sounds good to me". Maybe I'll write a
report someday on thought. With that "thought" I would like to finish
with the words of another.

I Am There
By James Dillet Freeman
Do you need Me ? I am there.
You cannot see Me, yet I am the light you see by.
You cannot hear Me, yet I speak through your voice.
You cannot feel Me, yet I am the power at work in your hands.
I am at work, though you do not understand My ways.
I am at work, though you do not reconize My works.
I am not strange visions, I am not mysteries.
Only in absolute stillness, beyond self, can you know
Me as I am, and then but as a feeling and a faith.
Yet I am there. Yet I hear. Yet I answer.
When you need Me, I am there.
Even if you deny Me, I am there.
Even when you feel most alone, I am there.
Even in your fears, I am there.
Even in your pain, I am there.
I am there when you pray and when you do not pray.
I am in you, and you are in Me.
Only in your mind can you feel separate from Me,
for only in your mind are the mists of "yours" and "mine".
Yet only with your mind can you know Me and experience Me.
Empty your heart of empty fears.
When you get yourself out of the way, I am there.
You can of yourself do nothing, but I can do all. And I am in all.
Though you may not see the good, good is there, for I am there.
I am there because I have to be, because I am.
Only in Me does the world have meaning; only out of Me does the
world take form; only because of Me does the world go forward.
I am the law on which the movement of the stars and the growth of
living cells are founded.
I am the love that is the laws fulfilling. I am assurance. I am
peace.
I am oneness. I am the law you can live by.
I am the love that you can cling to. I am your assurance. I am your
peace.
I am one with you. I am. Though you fail to find Me, I do not fail
you.
Though your faith in Me is unsure, My faith in you never wavers,
because I know you, because I love you.
Beloved, I am there.
